OMG, how I loved to play Space Fury on our little CBS. That was untill my nephew destroyed the cartridge somehow by pulling it out of the console while it was on. I still can get angry because of that lame action. I hope his soul will forever rot in agony, because a few years later he destroyed the freaking console for no reason while me and my parent where on holliday. I was really good at this shoot-em-up btw. But these days I like Omega Race (C=64) better.

Like Omega Race for Colecovision, the thrusting and rotating is too fixed. Vectrex could do a beter job for this game but Colecovision did have it's strengths with many other titles.

I've played the Arcade version before on the Sega Genesis Collection on my PSP with the Vector graphics version of this game, as played on the wood grained SEGA arcade cabinet!

Your ColecoVision seems to have a problem. Maybe the power cord is not connected properly or stable enough. If you have a second power supply for it, try it.

you should really give the arcade version a try. it has great synth speech...quite a lot for a game of it's time, and it's also a vector graphic game. come to think of it, this would have made the perfect vectrex port.... oh well.

This was one of my favorite colecovision titles! I think I still have it in the basement somewhere. There is another very similar game on that system that's like a mix of asteroids and frenzy/pacman because you had a maze or simple rectangle map on screen and you could bounce your shots off some of the walls. Was a ton of fun in 1 vs 1. Kind of like a very early predecessor to star control.
