Their friendship is probably everyone craves for...but I feel it's just happens in the fiction. The four girls went through many fights(some of them are very tense) and still forgive and love each other...from what I've experienced, not very realistic.

I'm with you.. You must, must, must have your friends. If you don't it's so difficult if you don't have those wonderful women to share your experiences with. You have to have someone you can relate to. It's as simple as that!! Love this show because of their wonderfully complicated, yet simply wonderful lives!! Love it because it's so relateable to women. I agree lovers come and go so keep your friends close...you do that and you will keep them forever...I have two friends that I have been friends with for 20+ years and even though we talk we are not as close as we used to be because we let the friendship slip...and I miss those friendships dearly

The friendships are a big part of the appeal. It's so nice to have someone 'get' you. I think it's a bit of a fantasy to have such great people in your life. Some have it others don't.
