This is very inefficient. a 10" Fresnel magnifying screen from a book store would set that pine cone on fire in a second.

@bastian74 It lit this pine cone in a second as well. I just had trouble finding the focal point

@datzfast I was thinking since it burned a pine cone pretty well, maybe I could replace the pine cone with a pot or a pan to cook food in

@Harwkins39 i was joking man, i read the description about it going to be used to cook food. make a video of it cooking indoors though a window , none exist, you will be the first.
lookin' good. :) harder to boil water with a 24" but I've proven it certainly can cook food, it's better size for reheating vs cooking however.
