@Artstar I know, that's terrible right? I assure you I attended all three days of Tokyo Jazz Festival 2011 this year and it was sold out all three days, no empty seats. I am so happy this festival has grown by leaps and bounds. I think in 2003 the festival was maybe only two years old? Was still trying to find a following.
@interman2 On a jazz note Lee Ritenour and his super guitar session was lacking a bit. On a rock note he (excuse me) fucking rocked the place out, him, Mike Stern, and a Japanese rock musician name Hotei. They put on a great performance. Yes, the word is awesome.
@DjAntomattei That would be the great Tomoyasu Hotei - a recording artist and movie soundtrack composer - check him out on YouTube...oh, and Tak Matsumoto too!
@Artstar "The general public, are ignorant and meddlesome outsiders who must be put in their place. They are to be spectators of action not participants who must be regimented to abandon any ideas about controlling their own lives. Their task is to develop a philosophy of futility and to follow orders while focusing their attention on more superficial things which comprise much of fashionable consumption."

@DjAntomattei I've listened to a bootleg recording of the Lee Ritenour + friends concert from this year. Must've been awesome to see in person
