The part where Blade hits him with all those punches using the anti-coagulant gauntlets and Nomak's neck and face start swelling up has got to be a reference to Fist of the North Star.

@TheKilleenRoo Indeed, and thats (what I think) made this move so great. They were hunting for Nomak, but he wasnt really the bad guy. He wanted revenge for what his father did to him.
