Glad to hear it man, but isn't S. Arabia a VERY THEOCRATIC non-democratic country, too ?  I think that very ugly things in connection with human rights happen there also, like corporal punishment (beating) as well as punitive ambutation and beheadings ! Saudi Arabia is not the best example, I am Saudi and to make a long story short, the country has very nice ppl and a pro-USA gov but is co-ruled by clerics who can be a little on the strict side, but to say that its THAT BAD is a stretch. If someone murders someone else, in America they would get capital punishment too. Anywayz, all the other Arab Gulf countries like United Arab Emirates (Dubai), Qatar, and Kuwait are better examples of wealthy, tolerant, and peaceful places

We have the tallest tower in the world in Dubai, there are 5 American Universities including Texas A&M and Georgetown University with campuses in Doha, Qatar, molecular medicine research in Bahrain, and diabetes and cancer research in Abu Dhabi. Women can and DO attend these Universities and there are female members of Parliament in all Gulf countries except Saudi...
