  • Bill Evans bought me to the original 51 theme song to this movie. The movie was still good but creepy. Not one of my fav Disney movies, but good.

  • This is one of the few Disney films I will sit through willingly. Bar none, one of my favorite stories of all time.

  • Time means many different things, so, it does exist--!--ALL is responding to COLLIN in truth, it is their enlightenment to belong to Collin--!-- ALICE is an important logic system causing electric judgements in a reflection of english--the root of ALL ENGLISH is one word=Collin. The root of ALL CODE AND COMMUNICATION is one key=COLLIN--WINS--!--

  • this movie was amazing.26 ppl dont know a good movie when they see one...

  • Got This Movie On Cassete Glad I Bought It Way Back Even Though I'm A Dude

  • She sounds exactly like sleeping beauty.

:') ahh I love this movie, so many memories come to me when I watch this. #IMissMyChildHood

  • I actually met Kathryn Beaumont. She is so kind. My favorite encounter with a childhood hero, by far.

  • It's sad to think that Kathryn Beaumont is the only one in the entire film credits who is still alive. Mind everyone else was much older, like in their 50s and 60s so they would have all passed away by now.

  • Is this the newer version? Because it sucks...

  • Remember the first time I watched this, Can't take my eyes out of the TV man :)

  • I love the Novel. And I love this movie. :)

  • Happy non-anniversary

  • It's too bad that this film did not pan out on initial release. It's a good movie. Walt thought this film had no heart to it, at least when compared with "Cinderella" before it, that people pulled and felt for Cinderella while not caring for Alice. Personally, I'll take "Alice In Wonderland" over "Cinderella" any day.

  • I always have loved the original animation/movie!

  • Evehollows1 u know he was extremely racist and hated Jews fight?

  • This is wonderful (: thanks for posting!!!

  • July 26 1951 was the world premiere. Walt considered it his least favorite of his creations and lots of critics didn't care for it when it was first released. But there is no doubt it has stood the test of time...truly one of the all-time best Disney movies.

  • Alice madness returns ftw.

  • Walt Disney, thank you for these amazing childhood memories that these original Disney movies granted me. I know you're dead now but damn, you were a big part of my childhood. Thanks, Walt Disney. Rest in peace. You deserve it. :)

  • Hmm I loved the art work in this movie I remember watching this in third grade well i'm in 8th now but anyway it totally inspired me to draw different worlds and fantasies and it really over expanded my imagination a lot not good for someone int the 8th grade.

  • OHHH THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!

  • Alice, may not be a princess like other Disney girls but she's so so so pretty. I ♥ Alice.

  • @orkneymist dude i lol'd so fucking hard. cause it's true xD

  • omg i cannot physically believe this came out 60 years ago and with snow white and cinderella etc! i honestly thought they all came out around when i was born and watching them in the 1990's haha!! shows how much i know!

  • @DanielleMarieox haha same, I always think. I watched them when I was little therefore thats when they were made lol

  • i cant remember watching dis??

  • why cant i watch the full movie ?

  • Is there anyway to watch Alice I'm wonderland in full

  • heroine of fiction? more like LSD…

  • They used to show alice in wonderland on disney. but actually alice in wonderland is not actually for children. look at the meanings idk. but i would watch this alot when i was youner. i grew up with this and the wizard of oz.

  • I love the way how the narrator says "all the wonderful friends she meets" and it shows them trying to kill her LOL

  • @Naruhinaluver15 I noticed that and laughed SO hard!!! Hahahahaha!!!!

  • I agree @Naruhinaluver15,

Whenever I see this (or the Re-Issue) trailer (usually DVD) and it gets to this bit I tend to go "Ha!"

  • why disney channel doesn't show these movie anymore??????

    just in my opinion : i don't like Upin&Ipin, The jungle book(not the cartoon in 1967) :(

  • Aww♥ This movie brings back SOOOO many good memories! n_n

  • Everything was better those days! The musics, woman, movies.. I miss it ;-)

  • I love Alice

  • have ad'schanges or did that one rock!

  • 0:44 wonderful friends indeed

  • A truly brilliant adaptation of an equally brilliant book. It's also the most psychologically disturbing animated feature that Disney has ever produced.

  • @TheAltair4

Indeed and Black Cauldron pushed it furthur. I had a thing for Alice as a kid.

  • @Johnlindsey289 Yes, Alice was a hottie.

  • @TheAltair4 It is a truly wonderful book, isn't it? I've read it twice. :] Lewis Carroll was a genius. One of my favorite Disney movies!!

  • @GlassKills Yeah, he was one of the best and most truly imaginative authors that has ever lived.

  • The original 1950's alice in wonderland cartoon movie always makes me feel so alive.

  • Thumbs up! Pink Floyd (The Wall) Alice In WonderLand.....AND SHROOMS!!!!!!

  • while i do believe he was a drug addict, the theories are that this was either a dream, or a story he told to his niece (with her as the main character) if anyone knows if he was a hatter, that could be it, hatters used to go mad from mercury fumes. Thus, mad hatters.

Either way, its actually an incredible book.

  • I love things like this :')

  • I wish people would stop relating drugs to this story! It was never proven he took drugs while writing this. He actually was very smart, and combined subjects like 'maths' into his work. He was a creative writer, thats how he made his story. Try writing a story like this on LSD and i might believe it's all a trip.

  • @FayeChan01 EXACATALLY! Finally, someone talking with SMARTS around here! (laughs like the March Hare)

  • I neeed to buy this movie. lalala love it! <3

  • This was released in, or by, 1951?

If so, then wow, this was very well done and was rather technically advanced especially considering the relative era in time.

  • everything is just so wonderful

  • Heroine indeed.

  • she seems high cuz ive seen it she falls asleep and dreams up wonderland and then wakes up thinking it wuz real total druggi

  • and this is the reason why I changed my name into Alice :)

  • Nice try, Tim Burton. I'm going to watch the real movie now.

  • @MagicEmperor Amen.

  • @MagicEmperor damm right

  • I read the book yesterday. It was weird O_o

  • thenoblequran (Ctrl+Enter)

  • Happy 60th anniversary to this movie!!!!!!!!

  • Alice 60th anniversary Blu-ray just released by Disney!

  • Alice = LS see how similar they are...and then wolderland ends with D..so does LSD..omfg im blazed right now and freaking.

  • @SuperiorSwagon1 Really? Of all the possible drug references in Alice and Wonderland you're going to stretch that a novel writtenin 1865 contains a codded message about a drug that was first synthisized in 1938?

  • @PetiteOzma You fucker...i thought some1 replied to my comment because they understood because they were as high as i was...Now you fucked up the last bowl i could smke in a while...i fucking hate you. NARc queer.

  • Wonderful Tunes for Your Heart?, Wonderful Thrills for your Eyes?, Wonderful Things she sees?, and Wonderful Friends she meets? Wonderland isn't wonderful at all. It's a depraved, savaged world, a world that tries to shove whimsical magic up your ass until it comes out of your mouth as toxic fumes whistling "Zip-A-Dee-Fucking-Doo-Dah"

  • @Wingham64409 BWAHAHAHAHA-- your kiddin' right?

  • @PeachCreek2026 I'm dead serious about it.

  • This just gave me my own question; How come the Nostalgia Critic didn't put it in his Top 11 Nostalgic Mindfucks? watch it again and you'll see that it's like a drug trip of a Disney movie.

  • To me, it's a children's version of "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"

  • this is my absolutely favourite movie... it makes me feel like i'm on drugs (y)

  • What I find rather funny about this, is when it says 'the wonderful friends she meets' there's the Queen and co. trying to chop her head off XD

  • WOW! Trailers have changed a LOT in 50 years!

  • @kikyo4815 That would be impossible since LSD was created in 1943.

  • Hmm everybody seems to think that Tim Burtons version was a remake

But it's really supposed to be based on 'through the looking glass" although, the original cartoon was truer to the books than the new one...

  • No. Carroll did not use drugs while writing the story. Some people insist that one has to be on drugs to write such a creative story. But why shouldn't someone have a creative mind of his own?

  • @sonickid101 but he was a pedophile and took pictures of girls for portraits while sedating them with drugs isnt that horrable. haha i want to read the book though

  • @sonickid101 but John Tennie was a pedophile and took pictures of girls for portraits while sedating them with drugs isnt that horrable. haha i want to read the book though

  • ah, what a beautiful masterpiece! WAYYY better than tim burtons version

  • If it wasn't for Walt, I'm sure I wouldn't know what Alice in Wonderland was. And that's saying alot since I'm a huge fan. <3

  • Tim Burton keep your goddamn hands off my childhood you prick, go make Ed Wood 2 or somthing awesome, I swear if you remake Wizard of Oz I will........bitch on the internet... HAHAHAHAHA!!!

  • Wow, such different style for trailers in the early 50's. I don't like that they spoiled to much of the story.

  • Makes me wish walt disney was still alive.....

  • I read the book in 6th grade, since then I've always loved the story <3

  • lol i love when it says you share with alice all the wonderful things she sees and its her lokking in horror. Then it says The wonderful friends she meets then it shows everyone trying to kill her.

  • @ChougenbouDon

I know! That's such a hilarious contrast. It's like, "Hey, trailer narrator guy. Did you even watch this movie?" XD

  • the real reason why it seems like the author was on drugs while writing this is because he was proving the existance of non-existance, which sounds like nonsense. it was written in 1865 during the victorian era, and everything in wonderland was to say, the opposite of reality. where as cheshire cat would say "we're all mad here." becuase caroll attempted to prove 'non-existence' which is nearly impossible, it made him seem like he was on drugs.

  • @Yrluv4ever Although that may be true, it wasn't a created illusion that he was on drugs. Historical accounts say that he was quite fond of LSD.

  • @Yrluv4ever That is a good theory--and a better one than I've heard from others!! He was a mathmetician and that also entered into the mix.

  • This is so much better then Tim Burtons new version.

  • @bellona6356 and i though tim could do better...but the original was bar far the gretest even tim couldnt beat i must confess

  • @bellona6356 i agree!

  • I've always liked her dress when i was younger.

  • I just can't belive that the people back then diden't like it ...

  • THE movie to watch while on Acid!

  • @ArsenRANGER If I'm not mistaken, it became more popular when drugs became more popular.
