Hey, I just upgraded my turnigy monster beatle and got it going 110km/hr!!

Thought you might be interested to know that it's possible!

I put out a challenge to see who can get their beatle going the fastest!

@DRPadmologist Unpredictable on ramp jumps because it is so short. Gets airborne on bumps on the road and flies straight off the kerb

The Turnigy 2s 2200mah 30c battery fits perfectly with room to spare! You just gotta remove the two battery spacers by undoing the 4 screws on the bottom, remove a little bit of the plastic from the chassis so the cable doesn't rub and secure it with a little adhesive velcro. I'll post a setup video when my new one arrives (sold the last one, someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse).

@fusionbrad Hi, It's a Zippy 2S 2200mAh 20C. Doesn't really fit, held in with a cable tie. A lot more running than in the video, only used up 1100mAh over 30min or so. cp.

Haha, nice driving.

I ran mine on 4S and almost burned it out, just gotta be careful with how hot the motor/esc get.

3S might overheat it as well, it's only made for 2S.

The heatsink is way too small on the ESC, you can glue on a bigger one if you want to do 3S, but the motor is still gonna overheat. I've probably damaged mine by overheating it.

I upgraded mine with a new motor/esc to see how fast it really can go.
