I was wondering if this game would play good on these specs: 2.3GHz Intel Core i5-2410M processor, 3MB Cache, 4GB system memory; Expandable to 8GB, and a AMD Radeon HD 6490M Graphics with 512MB dedicated memory.

the reason why this game looks so bad, is because using a FireGL card for Gaming is not going to benefit the appearence of the game. The fireGL is mostly used for working and precission rendering, not gaming whatsoever, if you're just going to play, then get a radeon.
The card is great for gaming, IF the game supports OpenGL... IF the game supports that, then make sure to set that option on in the games graphics menu. These cards are meant to accelerate anything using OpenGL, even games.
Fortunately - this game looks just as it should. It's hard to tell due to the quality of this video but I agree, this card is definitely not for gaming. Not all games support OpenGL either.

what version of firegl is this guy using. I use an Ati firegl 5000 with Swat 4 and the graphics are astonishing and it does not look laggy at all.
