my grandmother wanders around the house singing this sometimes... and ive started to do the same thing. at 16 i love this kind of music, and have always liked the older stuff (new music is all about sex, and getting drunk. which i do neither of. unlike alot of people i know -_-) and although age doesnt matter, you al know there are plenty of people my age who this this kind of music is boring and stupid. personally? i really dont care what the think :)
So sad .How she died she was a legend in the world of country music im only 19 but i grew up listening to her and other country artists i think its great listening to this music now . Beats any music they have tday by far but shhh dont tell nobody LMFAO:) Rip Patsy
If you turn your volume up, at 2:30 you can hear a faint "you" before the dubbed "you" kicks in. This was because she originally recorded her vocals at the same time as the studio musicians, but in a separate room--yet close enough for her voice to "bleed through" the walls and be picked up by the musicians' microphone. She wasn't happy with her performance that day, so she re-recorded her vocals a day or two later by herself and they were later mixed with the musicians' track.
Best opening to a song ever. The bass line comes through very clearly. And listen closely for the ghostly "you" @ 2:29--when mixing the song they got ahead of themselves by a second.
An absolute classic! This was made when music wasn't made of synthetics like it is today. We need to go back to this kind of stuff! I'll take Patsy over Britney or Beyonce any day!
I heared this very lovely and meaningful song by Patsy Cline when I was only 5 months old in my mother's womb. So, what I did , I pushed back everything that my mother had inserted on my way in order not to interfere the sweet and lovely voice of Patsy. So, please continue the music.
Supertrooper: The comment about "my grandma & grandpa used to dance to this song" was my 35 year old son using my sign-in name! You know how you damn kids are!
My dad loved Patsy Cline, I bought a radio and a bunch of her Cds when he had his stroke and we would listen to them now that he's passed though sometimes it makes me a bit sad to listen to them it reminds me of him and how lucky I was just to have him.

@warhawkBL187 it's very noticeable your trying to copy the top comment know she said that 4 monthes ago and you said it a week ago plus if your four you shouldnt have a youtube
My point was that your age is irrelevant to music. Nobody really gives a flying monkey if shes 14 or not. Im just sick of these comments being made where a young whipper snapper comes in and says, "YAY, im 12!" and everyone says "Aaaaaaw how cute!" then hit the 'Like' button because of it.
The funny thing is that this was on the pop charts when it came out. There wasnt a real sence of "rock and roll" and "countery" at that point. I LOVE Miss Cline and I wish she had had a little longer to keep making her beautiful songs. funny thing is I HATE country, but I love her and a few others in the ganra.
I love this song <3 I remember when my mom bought our horse. His name back then was ''My crazy gun bar'' AKA Crazy. When we came back home, I had no idea she had bought him untill she played this song very loud in the house <3
