  • loca yo!

  • I want this played at my wedding.

  • timeless...

  • Makes me cry everytime I hear it....and I'm a guy.

  • Twisted Metal

  • my grandmother wanders around the house singing this sometimes... and ive started to do the same thing. at 16 i love this kind of music, and have always liked the older stuff (new music is all about sex, and getting drunk. which i do neither of. unlike alot of people i know -_-) and although age doesnt matter, you al know there are plenty of people my age who this this kind of music is boring and stupid. personally? i really dont care what the think :)

  • @tyblips:

Sounds like you have your head screwed on straight.

    Great to hear.

    Seen "Zeitgeist" movie yet?

  • Should be Rick Santorum's campaign theme.

  • @cottonzway LOL! Or maybe the theme from "The Twilight Zone"

  • this music doesn't put you guys to sleep? im only here to see what this song is. i gave it my thumbs down, now im out of here.

  • so amazing......have no word to discribe my feelin'

  • 9 people are CRAZY !

  • you know whats crazy willie nelson wrote this song for her lol

  • So sad .How she died she was a legend in the world of country music im only 19 but i grew up listening to her and other country artists i think its great listening to this music now . Beats any music they have tday by far but shhh dont tell nobody LMFAO:) Rip Patsy

  • my grandmothers favourite song, RIP Grandma June. Jan/1/2012

  • 8 people have their heads FIRMLY shoved up their own ass!

    great tune, great voice.

  • I'm not trying to get likes but how can anybody dislike this beautiful song?

  • @cprflash I don't know. I guess that.... They're crazy, Crazy for disliking this amazing classic song

  • is it just me who thinks some of the greatest muscians/singers are only meant to be on earth only so long, This song absolutley still holds up today!

  • I'm crazy for crying and crazy for trying...crazy for loving you.

  • If you turn your volume up, at 2:30 you can hear a faint "you" before the dubbed "you" kicks in. This was because she originally recorded her vocals at the same time as the studio musicians, but in a separate room--yet close enough for her voice to "bleed through" the walls and be picked up by the musicians' microphone. She wasn't happy with her performance that day, so she re-recorded her vocals a day or two later by herself and they were later mixed with the musicians' track.

  • @SirWilly77 its 2:27

  • Best opening to a song ever. The bass line comes through very clearly. And listen closely for the ghostly "you" @ 2:29--when mixing the song they got ahead of themselves by a second.

  • Makes me think of some posh resturant where Al capone is sitting dunno why

  • A CLASSIC from 1961...this is the most played song in the history of the jukebox...

  • An absolute classic! This was made when music wasn't made of synthetics like it is today. We need to go back to this kind of stuff! I'll take Patsy over Britney or Beyonce any day!

  • @timobloozer You cannot put Britney and Beyonce in the same category....

  • @dietoolife a discussion about these two so called "singers" doesnt belong near anything a true legend like patsy...

  • I heared this very lovely and meaningful song by Patsy Cline when I was only 5 months old in my mother's womb. So, what I did , I pushed back everything that my mother had inserted on my way in order not to interfere the sweet and lovely voice of Patsy. So, please continue the music.

  • One of my Mums favs, sadly passed away last year, so missed, Great song x

  • Supertrooper: The comment about "my grandma & grandpa used to dance to this song" was my 35 year old son using my sign-in name! You know how you damn kids are!

  • I have to sing this for an audition for a school play. 0_o

  • My dad loved Patsy Cline, I bought a radio and a bunch of her Cds when he had his stroke and we would listen to them now that he's passed though sometimes it makes me a bit sad to listen to them it reminds me of him and how lucky I was just to have him.

  • my dad would rock me to sleep to this song almost makes me cry

  • Oh you're still missed Patsy, even by the generations that were born after your demise. May you R.I.P Ms Cline.

  • @savemyplaylist HAHAHAHA!!

  • Written by Willie Nelson. Sung by Patsy Cline. The intersection of two musical geniuses.

  • @Danzakisan Really?Dang I thought Patsy was the original...

  • I remember sitting next to my father D.M and he is still the best man I know!Im 34 and I miss him he live in florida and Im in Nj this makes me cry!!!

  • @warhawkBL187 it's very noticeable your trying to copy the top comment know she said that 4 monthes ago and you said it a week ago plus if your four you shouldnt have a youtube

  • @Candy1015790

My point was that your age is irrelevant to music. Nobody really gives a flying monkey if shes 14 or not. Im just sick of these comments being made where a young whipper snapper comes in and says, "YAY, im 12!" and everyone says "Aaaaaaw how cute!" then hit the 'Like' button because of it.

  • oh oh im 13 and im 15! i just want some attention!!..no matter what age you are, ur not superior if ur young and listen to patsy cline

  • Im 14 years old and I'm one of the only people out of my friends that love and adores classic country <3 Bless you Patsy

  • @masterselina wow. your soul sure is free.

  • I used to sing this song at a kareoke cafe in Tijuana B.C Mexico(15 years ago).....I adore her....La adoro!!!!

  • The funny thing is that this was on the pop charts when it came out. There wasnt a real sence of "rock and roll" and "countery" at that point. I LOVE Miss Cline and I wish she had had a little longer to keep making her beautiful songs. funny thing is I HATE country, but I love her and a few others in the ganra.

  • @XDomX990 No, not at all. I know a ton of music that is dated way older than I am, too. My parents listened to a lot of this music. It's from a simpler time and music can be appreciated much more. I applaud you that you are from a younger generation and still like this music.

  • @XDomX990

There's nothing weird about loving good music.

  • @greencoloredstar Not for us who have good taste in music. I'm 16 and to all the kids in my generation, we're pretty weird. I've never loved being weird as much as this. Cheers

  • @XDomX990 LOL. YOU WIN. I'm fifteen. And thanks to my favorite book series I came here and realised I knew most of the words to this song XD. San Andreas. God damn that game.

I'd say your hell of a lot more advance than the kids your age listening to some rapper talk about money and whores :) lmfao

  • @YasminMouse haha i love that XD

  • GTA San Andreas

  • what a Voice... My Parents would listen to her in our back yard, both sitting at the table singing, telling me sing catie... :}

  • my mom most favoriet number end she died yesterday :( i'll love this song 4 ever fuck what ather people think

RIP ma'tje we will meet again xxxxx

  • the musicality in her voice is amazing

  • who could dislike this , simply amazed, R.I.P. Patsy Cline the good Die young

  • The INSTRUMENTALS playing LIVE here?

The background track, including vocals sung only just a bit perfect, as awesome as I've ever seen in a for-TV effort. (I'm one of ShaNaNa myself.) The soundchecks in that studio must have been way serious!

  • I hate it that I never got to meet my 4th cousin. As many of yhu would know her mother was Hilda Hensley who is my dad's 3rd cousin. So one day my father told me that the most beatiful singer in the world was my cousin...my mind just exploded.Even though I never met/knew yhu,I love yhu Patsy!!! Hopefully I'll meet yhu someday. :' ) ~Harriet XxheartbrokenxX77 Hensley

  • when i was a little girl i remember sitting on my dad's shoulders in

Pittsfield, IL at an outdoor venue and listening to

    PATSY CLINE!!!!

  • @dakotacannonball honestly thats not entirely possible.

  • I love this song! Thanks for the Great Post, and a Excellent Production!!!

  • The story goes that when Patsy was first offered thsi song by Willie Nelson, she hated it. But Owen Bradley's arrangement was so beautiful that she was overtaken by it and then recorded it.
