I haven't played halo CE anniversary, but i have played Halo CE. And it was a great game, Halo CE anniversary is just a remake of halo CE, the only difference is the graphics.

We expected the PlayStation 3 to ship with several games that first appeared on the Xbox 360, similar to how the Xbox 360 had a lot of Xbox ports at launch. And the PS3 did indeed arrive with a good number of games that originally shipped for the Xbox 360.
When you have a battle rifle in Halo 3 If you don't have connection host, I can guarantee you that 3/4 of your bullets will NOT connect.

Every single person i introduced halo to loved it. From my 29 yearold brother down to kids as old as 3. There is something uniques about Halo that many people are attracted to. Not many FPS has that type of appeal. My 11 year old son played resistance split screen the other day and said it was bad and this is comming from a boy who enjoyed playing Legendary.

Depends on what you consider to be substance. Mana has a great abundance of similar things. That can contribute a degree of subtlety to strategic choices. Zelda tends to only include items that are drastically different, but less in total. Zelda's arsenal of tools elevates it. But it still engages the required dynamics to qualify as an RPG. If you think it transcends it, and by that yardstick transcends the genre, then so be it.
Where is the "substance" in SoM? I found absolutely none. Coincidentally, I've had this exact same argument before (SoM vs LttP) and I systematically proved that SoM was a Zelda-like game with RPG elements and no content. JRPG's substitute grinding and tedious party management for meaningful gameplay.

Sorry, this list is an absolute joke. Assassin's creed is on PC, as are the C and C games and they are unarguably better with the mouse. Guitar Hero and Rockband are casual and there are better racing games than PGR on PC. And Spore is actually PC exclusive.

This gave us the perfect opportunity to compare the graphics on both systems with several cross-platform games. You'd think that the PS3 versions would be exactly the same or slightly superior to the Xbox 360 versions, since many of these games appeared on the 360 months ago, but it seems like developers didn't use the extra time to polish up the graphics for the PS3. We found that the Xbox 360 actually had better graphics in the majority of the games we compared.

Every halo game is a mediocre shooter. The story alone is for idiots. A ring around a planet? What ? are you all 10 years old or just too much into sci fi? It makes no fucking sense and the gameplay is sub par at best. Flashy mediocre shooter... Ill pass. Oh by the way on the PS3 vs XBOX 360 war; PS3 has better hardware in it. We expected the PlayStation 3 to ship with several games that first appeared on the Xbox 360, similar to how the Xbox 360 had a lot of Xbox ports at launch. And the PS3 did indeed arrive with a good number of games that originally shipped for the Xbox 360.

When you have a battle rifle in Halo 3 If you don't have connection host, I can guarantee you that 3/4 of your bullets will NOT connect.
Then when someone from the shit community bad mouths yah about not about br'ing them that you suck, when you simply cannot win because the other persons connection sucks balls, but yet the game is designed so everyone uses it!

personally I think ps3 and xbox are about the same, it really doens't matter what's better, but look at it. Xbox it's just xbox. Every single person i introduced halo to loved it. From my 29 yearold brother down to kids as old as 3. There is something uniques about Halo that many people are attracted to. Not many FPS has that type of appeal. My 11 year old son played resistance split screen the other day and said it was bad and this is comming from a boy who enjoyed playing Legendary.

Name a fundamentally RPG property that is possessed by Oblivion that Zelda lacks? Hell, it's not even turn based. It doesn't even simulate turn based timing like Morrowind did, with it's drastically cumbersome delays. The governing mechanics of Zelda are merely a different nomenclature for the same aspects bloated into redundant nausea in other RPG's. There is no definition that encompasses both, as definitions can vary inside the realm of RPG itself. How do you encompass Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy VII under the same banner, when there are FUNDAMENTAL differences between them?
Oh, and if the shoe fits, it fits. GTA has definitely taken on a few RPG "leanings", especially in San Andreas (don't know why they backed up in IV), but it doesn't have quite the same obvious construct of RPG mechanics with different nomenclature.

You want to be convincing? Go back to a more level field. Illustrate what design, structure and mechanics, make Secret of Mana an RPG, that Link to the Past doesn't have, and can't be argued semantically to have.
By the way, I would argue that somewhere in the design middle, is an adventure game... TOMB RAIDER. But then, some will argue that it's a platform game. Yet, is it truly as pure as SONIC in that way? Traits always overlap, but Raider I would regard as adventure.

The issue is not what Mana has that LttP doesn't have it's what LttP has that no other RPG does. SoM is a bare skeleton of what LttP offers.

Depends on what you consider to be substance. Mana has a great abundance of similar things. That can contribute a degree of subtlety to strategic choices. Zelda tends to only include items that are drastically different, but less in total. Zelda's arsenal of tools elevates it. But it still engages the required dynamics to qualify as an RPG. If you think it transcends it, and by that yardstick transcends the genre, then so be it.

Coincidentally, I've had this exact same argument before (SoM vs LttP) and I systematically proved that SoM was a Zelda-like game with RPG elements and no content. JRPG's substitute grinding and tedious party management for meaningful gameplay.

Sorry, this list is an absolute joke. Assassin's creed is on PC, as are the C and C games and they are unarguably better with the mouse. Guitar Hero and Rockband are casual and there are better racing games than PGR on PC. And Spore is actually PC exclusive.
