@NoaOno whats the point of being a guitarist when you are this good at bass. bassists definately dont get enough credit for what they do and playing technical bass is so much different than guitar.

@pwny6000 I think that bass is an instrument built for another purpose than, like this, tapping amazing scales. This is more the guitar style, I think. Of course you can do whatever you want on any instrument, but the idea with the bass was to bring bass to the music, I think you get what I mean. Guitar is the instrument that either plays mid- and high notes in solos or just chords. So this is in the guitar section, in my opinion. What I mean is that his skills are basicly guitar skills.

@NoaOno this video was just a real quick take for youtube, not worrying about tone, and having no idea i would join VOM. it was done out of a roland micro cube guitar amp, which was closer than my bass rig lol. that should explain the tone! and to answer other questions, i like to be a bassist most of the time and hold down the fort on the low end, then do some flashy stuff here and there. it would take away from the music if i was following the guitar riffs all the time, ya know? :)
