Turkey has always been a greater power in european history. Formerly known as the ottoman empire.

Turkey Always streched up to constantinople or where military engaged near the region.

Thats been happening for thousands of years,

Usually greeks and turks fought for geographic issues.

So they are arabs,

But hey, theyre wealthy.

We could use them. Exspecially wide open trade could help greece maintain their financial issues.

Civilization began in modern day Turkey. We have found Noah's ark in Turkey recently, we have also the oldest buildings in the world, 12,000 years older than Pyramids.

Culturally we are superior to Europeans, especially Anglo-Saxon society.

I think Turkey should go on the Eu union as a member. It has the 17th largest economy. Turkey is a wonderful place. Turkey has the good religions on its own cultural.

Muslim countries should work together and form their own union. We should have firendly relations with the West, but Muslim countries are more important to us, we are all Muslims after all.

Turkey has the 17th Largest Economy in the world and there are over 250 countries in the world.

Turkeys Economy is ranked around 6th place in Europe and there are 27 countries in Europe.

Turkey has the 8th most powerful military in the world.

Of course we welcome Turkey into a full membership of Europe. Its a great country that we can benefit from having on our side, thats a no brainier!

The current Turkish gov does not play its cards right.even europe understood the opportunity of central asia/asia.gcc and me is not central asia .they just talk but they don´t do real big steps.they put all their effort just in the e.u negotiations which is not clever.they neglect central asia /asia which is a bigger market,has higher growth rates and a younger population.we also have cultural relations which is a big plus compared to europe.Turkey should not act as Trojan horse for europe.

Turkey have 72 million population but 15 million are Kurds and grow more fast than the Turks.

Also Turkish GDP per capita (12900$) are lower than Botswana's or Gabon for 2008, and it is shame.

Greek GDP per capita are 32800$ for 2008, and is richer than Italian or French.
