@matsarch thats the problem i found most common with battle rappers. they lack flow and delivery. lyrics are always on point. being a battle rapper you already understand wittyness and clever wordplay. but besides that soul khan is one of the only rappers i listen to from battle leagues besides illmaculate.
I tend to agree with you. If you lack in one area it masks your skills in another which really is a shame. but then again a lot of well known rappers (from what I've heard) started out as battle rappers in some shape or form.
