  • How do you select all

  • @GamerKid2888 You can select all tracks my going to ' Edit, Select all ' Is that what you mean?

  • Thank you! i spent ages trying to get rid of them, Watched your vid and it only took me 5 Min

  • @jenniferxagar Your welcome!

  • WORKED PERFECTLY. Thank you so much! If someone's having problems, they're not following you correctly.

  • @SlapNutzBobby Glad i can help! Some people do have troubles, i just tell them to watch the video again.

  • I just did exactly what you sujested to do, and it just deleted the songs from my itunes lybrary. have i done something wrong?

  • @we4551 Restore them back from the recycle bin. Do the process over and only highlight the songs with the exclamation mark then hit delete.

  • ok.... well my ipod has exclimation marks. all i want to do is group all the exclimation marks so i can replace the songs.

  • @x617xxFRESHx This video shows you how to put them all in a group so their not spread out. You mean group them on your ipod?

  • i dont have the exclamation mark i have the little circle with the loading symbol by my songs and they wont play what do i do

  • @THESTFUPRODUCTION Still having this issue?

  • OMG THIS DOESNT HELP HOW DO I HIGHLIGHT THEM DO I HAVE TO CTRL CLICK A 1k TIMES???? ONE DOES NOT SIMPLY HIGHLIGHT EVERTHING!!

  • @hyperhalo123 NO, once they are all sorted and grouped together, just click on the first song, then shift click the very last song and it will highlight them all. It does work, watch it a couple times to figure it out.

  • If you have a lot of time to spare, this is how I do it

    1. Keep all your music in 1 folder

    2. Don't use itunes to preview songs you downloaded, use another media player

    3. Select all songs in itunes and delete

    4. Have itunes add music from your music folder

    5. Only songs in your folder will appear no exclamation points

  • damnit all my songs got deleted

  • @calabrese098 They should still be on your hard drive or in your recycle bin

  • @xxsekoxx how do i get it back into itunes

  • @calabrese098 Just go to ' File ' ' Add folder to library ' and find the folder where all of your songs are

  • @xxsekoxx yea im sure that would work if my songs were in a folder oh well it luckily it wasn't alot of songs and they're already on my ipod so i'll be fine without em.

  • @redcobra59 Yep

  • WHO CARES if the bloody exclamation marks are all GONE ?!

I want them BACK ! I want my songs that HAVE the fucking exclamation next to them to revert back to normal !!

So are you all saying .... you have to simply DELETE them all ... .and spend a FORTUNE re-downloading songs you used to have ?

  • @MrRickster83 haha obviously you did something wrong. Our exclamation marks dont play the songs at all. We all have the song that does play right next to the one that doesnt. So by getting rid of the ones that wont play cleans up our itunes!

You should be able to easily locate all your songs still on your hard drive. Let me know if i can help.

  • Bloody amazing this got rid of all of them thanks a bunch mate XD

  • @jramtrini No problem man, glad i could help.

  • It just deleted all of the songs with the explation mark???? now i have like 7 song??? how can i get them back???

  • @11CHRISTENSEN That is what it is supposed to do, usually the songs with exclamation mark dont play anyway. Have you checked your Recycle Bin?

  • @HentaiSenpai072 Isnt it wonderful!

  • How did you "only" select the ( ! ) ones. I can select all but how do I select only the ( ! ) when they are in order?

  • @whiteout130 That is the whole point of the video. Pay attention, you need to categorize the music. And when you do that it will put the (!) all in order so you can delete them all at once. Watch the video again and then go to

View - then View options and you will figure it out.

  • @xxsekoxx I understood perfectly clear. What I missed was that you had to click BPM after you select it for viewing.

  • @whiteout130 Oh OK, i'm glad that you figured it out!

  • i cant i cant and i cant , the songs with the exclamation wont sync to my iphone,,

  • @sylviemanya It's because the computer needs to either know where those files are or the files arnt there at all. Do you have double of every song? with one having the exclamation mark?

  • So your saying you play 1 song and then when you try to play a different song it comes back?

  • I can put the songs onto iTunes and I can play them, but when I play another song, the ! comes back. Do I just need to save my music into a different file?

  • Boomy!

  • Hello good video just had a question about burning a cd with those exclamation points. It says it cant find the song and than when I click burn it says would you like to burn remainder of the songs with out the exclamation point you know what to do?

  • i just want to get rid o the exclamtion points because they don't play when i click on them so i don't wanna delete the songs

  • @organicmilk5 That is exactly what this video explains. Watch it a couple of times and you'll get it. Let me know if you need any help.

  • @xxsekoxx yeah but at the end of the video you delete the songs that had the exclamation points?

  • @xxsekoxx In most cases the exclamation points are there because they are duplicates, so you can delete them and still have the original song on the hard drive. Is it asking you to locate the file? Can you still go into program manager in windows and find the songs?

  • im so pissed off right now!!!!!!!!!!! all of my new songs have the dum mark and u mumbull to much uuuggghhh damn it i just want me songs!!!!!! >:(

  • Thanks for ur help ,

  • @m2mblinds Your welcome.

  • Thank you so much helped tremendously.

  • @EARdraum No problem, i am glad i could help.

  • Ok but i still WANT the songs... just to get rid of the exclamation marks i don't know how... :(

  • @thedarkfairy707 The songs that have the exclamation are no good. They were once in your library but are not anymore. So in most cases, you will show two copies of the song, one without the exclamation, and one with. And only the one without will play.

  • What does that mean? the exclamation mark

  • @AvErAgESaG It is next to songs that wont play. Somehow they have been added to your music list. This video shows how to get rid of them so you are not showing double of all your songs.

  • @xxsekoxx can u tell me how to fix songs that i put in from my external usb drive? it plays when the usb drive is in. but not when its out

  • @rapidthegreat Just got to ' File, Add folder ' then select the USB drive and hit OK. It will import all those songs then.

  • thanks man u rock! :)

  • @inaos96 No problem bro, glad i could help.

  • Thank you it worked but i had to sort by bpm!!!!!!!!! thank you

  • @DianaBEN87 Your welcome!

  • i dont get what you are saying at :53 and after.... what do u mean? do you want me to click YES? because on the video you dont/.....

  • @94MeXiCaNa94 I didnt do it because i already did. Click yes then put a 1 next to the BPM field.

  • how o you put your bpm back to normal

  • @TYGkru Just go back and remove the 1 from bpm and select how you want to sort the songs.

  • @xxsekoxx

    lol thanks

was real obvious wernt it :)

    ha ha

  • @TYGkru Yeah but thats OK!

  • I don't want to lose the song though, I want to be able to listen to it

  • @ferrari5o9o You don't lose the song. It only gets rid of the one with an exclamation mark. This works if itunes shows double of every song but you can only play the one without the exclamation.
