I just can't help missing Rosie and Anna. I don't like that Sanne has taken most of the solos. I don't think they are as good as they were originally. And I agree with someone below me that said the group in any arrangement with Sanne and Janet will never be Play to me either.

Member switch-ups happen all the time in music groups, especially girl groups. Sometimes the original members just can't stick together. That's just how it goes. But the group name always still stays because that's still the name of the group. For example, Destiny's Child switched members a couple times, and the Sugababes switched members a lot, but their group name still stayed. This is still Play and it's still a great (dare I say better) group.

This new PLAY is an whole NEW thing, a whole new gig. This is the evolution of PLAY. And personally, I love it. I liked the original PLAY a lot, but the new PLAY I love.

I want Play to be successful so don't get me wrong, but the U.S. is not really into the whole girl group thing right now. Solo singers are definitely in right now haha. You might be able to find a popular group but usually they have been in for a while like the Backstreet Boys who have been together for years and have a well established fan base.

I agree with the last sentence. I see them getting big in Sweden but not in the US. The US has moved on from girl groups like this, it's all about solo artists and more hip-hop influenced songs. I think if they had come back with the full original line up and had more rocky/sexier songs they would've had a chance, but I can't see them them getting big again in the US with what they're doing.
