I am surprised by the 'inscription'. "Academy First Award, to Audrey Hepburn..." Not something like "To Audrey Hepburn, Best Actress award 1953 for her performance in Roman Holiday" ??? also, Academy First Award implies they anticipate another for her... which while it would have been nice, it presumes a lot, and why would they have that tone to it. Does anyone know if this is the real inscription? Were they all that way back then?
