Yup, I hate cats too! And now, I hate them more! No wonder people love cats so much, the nasty pussies planted their shit and contaminated their loyal owners! Evil little fucking bastards!
That`s totally a fake experiment and video would be lame... But tha man sounds so VIOLENT and FURIOUS it makes you laugh and actually watch till the end.
Even though his theory is bullshit, the video is great thanks to his vocal rage.
But i do like the idea that all fucking cat lovers are zombies mind controlled by brain parasites))
You are more likely to get it from a dog then from a cat.. the #1 place people get it from though is their food.. yep it's in raw meat and uncooked veg.
Everything about this is retarded. How can you "accidentally" ingest cat faeces? And why take one rat to be tested and not the other? His "experiment" is inconclusive. And that is blatantly a domesticated rat, not a wild one, so the whole thing is a setup (although that couldn't be more obvious, really). Shouty scaremongering bastard doesn't have a clue.
@BuildingAtrophy 1. You don't have to eat a big piece of cat poop to ingest cat feces. Microscope amounts of feces can contain the parasite. Ex. Petting a cat that has liked it's anus then licked its self, and then inadvertently rubbing your eyes or touching around your mouth. That would be enough to "ingest" cat feces.
2. His experiment may not be very scientific, however a Stanford University study does in fact show "
Parasite 'Brainwashes' Rats Into Craving Cat Urine."
Hey stupid ! Come on. toxoplasmosis only contaminates dirty people. Do you eat cats? Do you put your hands in cat's shit. Well, that's the only way to get toxoplasmosis ...when having contact with a contaminated cat's shit or if you eat the contaminated cat. And I'm doing my best to help the world get rit of idiots!
@hhkt I'm pretty sure there are more people eating undercooked meat then there are people putting hands in cat's shit. You don't have to play in cat shit or eat a cat to get toxoplasmosis. All it takes is some jackass undercooking your porkchop or steak. And beware the sushi.
Well, I doubt that I have it, as I don't spend any time around cats. My ex had 4 of them and I didn't handle them all that much. I find it amusing that so many people think I'm crazy when I tell them about Toxoplasmosis. I first heard about it 4 or 5 years ago, and it only took a quick search online to find credible articles on the parasite. Of course, there are some people who know about it and simply don't care.
I just found a dead cat laying along side the road yesturday, I stood by it for 2 hours in the freezing cold waiting for somebody to help me, but everybody I asked just went along their buisness, most of them saying they don't like cats, while others didn't provide any excuse at all.He had a collar. I am fourteen years old.
@holenivana98 not true I was diagnosed with Toxoplasmosis 7 years ago when I was 42, and not pregnant, I was hospitalized for 3 months I was on antibiotics similar to chemotherapy, to try to kill this parasite, only to find out it can't be, I will have this parasite living in my brain the rest of my life, it attacks your body if your immune system is low, so it may in fact affect pregnant woman more often but it can happen to anyone
@terryberry48 It has no strategy for entry into the eye.. toxo in your eyes is bad as is it for a fetus. The main thing that is interesting about it is what it does in the brain.
Sorry about your eye by the way. How did it get in your eye? Before you were born or gardening...? I remember a horrible story of a fly crashing into a persons eye and an egg popped out and hatched.. they became blind too.
@abram730 It attacked my brain, but one of my symptoms was that my right eye went off to the side, causing me to have double vision, my eyes are back to normal, I haven't had an attack for a few years, as long as my immune system is good, then the toxo stays dormant, thank goodness:)
@zerghellion you can also get it from uncooked meat, for instance, if you're handling raw hamburger or chicken, and you accidently rub your mouth then you're infected ,not only from cat feces, and I'm sure no one eats cat feces
ah shiit ^^

You do realize most cases of toxoplamosis go unnoticed and its only dangerous while pregnant
