fyi, she doesn't die because of this fall exactly, try watching the whole film through to see why she dies, and why this film raised so many modern day questions about life.

also how is the fall stupid? if you watched the film without expecting it, it was tragic and shocking beyond belief, poignant even, as to how something so small- a stool layed out too early- can result into such a big life changing moment.
