i made my bhuvan using my hot air balloon image mappery technology. Its really fast and does 3D scaning of bitches walking down the foothpath in real time with thermal body imagery integrated

bhuvan sucks, it is low res but the interface is better than google earth

Google maps/ earth is way ahead of bhuvan. it will take time for bhuvan to catch up. But still its a good step ahead

If all Indians pulled out of Google and Yahoo or MSN, they'd crash in a day. So, STFU.

Bhuvan started like 6 months ago. Did you ever see Google Earth when it was 6 months old? It sucked Donkey Balls. They kept adding features and higher resolution pictures. It took them 5 to 6 years to reach where they are now. In 5 years, Bhuvan will easily outrun Google Earth.

One more thing: ISRO has its own mapping satellites. Google does not. They lease the maps from other mapping companies.

Oh don't make this an Indian Vs Google Earth thing. I'm just saying that the first version of this program, Bhuvan, is not as versatile as Google Earth, which has been in development for what?...5+ years.

Yeah, have you actually looked at the list of features on Bhuvan? The only thing it has that GE doesn't have is being able to place the sun. Half it's feature list is about how you move around in the 3D visualisation. Big freeking whoop. On the other hand GE has KML which incredibly versatile (check out various scientific uses, data searches, geotagged photos, the timestamp features), recordable tours.

And it runs on a lot more systems than just XP/Vista.
