..."Along time ago when I was a youngy"...LOL you are a youngy. You show a collection of movies and then include a number of titles that you havent even bothered to watch..In this video you seemed more concerened with your hair and adjusting you shirt of then the actual movies
@ROCKnROLL1406 its an old video. when i refer to being young i guess i should say a little kid. yeah these old videos aren't very good. these aren't reviews just basically showing the dvds i had back then. hopefully i think i have gotten less concerned about silly stuff like hair in my newer videos this was 3.5 years ago.
@brian09091 you sir are a moron. its like thanks for commenting but you are a real piece of shit... no offense. by the way not that it really matters about spelling but it hard to take you seriously with that many easy spelling errors. if you are going to insult me don't put no offense on it... be a fucking man you little pussy ... no offense lol
I've never seen anybody talk about Happy hell night, when I was younger I told my mom to buy me Hell night with Linda Blair from suncoast, but she brought back Happy hell night I was mad at first but I love that movie, glad I own it. I tend to favorite a lot of films that the youtube horror fans hate, Halloween 4 being another one which is probally my favorite of the series. ROTLD 2 is my favorite of that series, I dont really like Romero films that much, and I love 90's horror, Im weird.
@paulandj happy hell night is a strange one lol. yeah i really like rotld 2 as well as 1 and 3. i also early 90's had some crazy and weird horror movies.
@mrparka Nah, you needn't be his doppleganger. Oh and you look like one of the guitarists from the Strokes. I swear I've seen them both play lead so not sure exactly which one, but you can stare into a mirror and compare/contrast. Anyhoo- enuff of that bidness...
@mrparka Yea, I just came across you this past weekend while lookin up some reviews from the guys from Deadpit. So i just saw your older reviews, but last nite I came across your newer reviews. You are still fine as hell! But you are an awesome critic(if you will) and I like that you are so concise. And I love zombie flicks, but had no idea there are so many out there. Ever seen Zombie Dearest? Just saw this, not great, but interesting.
Another awesome list. I had no idea Cardiac Arrest was on DVD (though I hear it isn't a slasher film)... I've yet to get the DVD of The Forest, just have my VHS.
@lanceton123 yeah man, the original is disturbing and well... Original! The remake is just a bit of fun, but it shouldn't even have the same name man and the plastic bag thing has no effect in the remake what-so-ever.
the story for The Burning was written before Friday the 13th, but released as a film afterward. Many people say its a rip off of Friday the 13th, but its not.
for an older gory slasher movie check out the Burning (1981), The Prowler (1981), both movies has effects by savini both are pretty mean spirited in the kills.

do you have the directors cut of the exorcist (NOT THE ONE WHICH SAYS "THE VERSION YOU HAVE NOT SEEN") I already have that. I'm looking for the original one. Please could you help I would really appreciate it. MANY THANKS
no, i'm not sure if that was released on dvd or it was just on vhs, i did see the vhs along time ago of the original cut, there might be a version of that dvd around not sure thou, i would check around on places like amazon.
Oh damn, the guy who did THIS boogeyman did those lionsgate movies. Shit, lol I've been giving the wrong guy shit! rofl, Zombie Nation was the worst piece of shit I've seen! Burning is amazing! Jason Alexander with hair...enough said lol. The director's cut of Halloween was dissapointing cause that rape scene was retarded. Nice vid, 5*
yeah the old boogeyman guy directed a crap ton of new movies for lions gate and it seemed they tried to make it look like the director of the new boogeyman did it lol. i love burning. agreed lol. yeah the rape scene was awful not to mention they were so cheap they didn't include the prison escape scene on the 2nd disc.
The worst part about them taking out that scene from Halloween, not only did they take out those cameos but they got rid of like 5 or 6 kills, I mean wow. Theres no way Rob Zombie was thinking straight. But, hopefully H2 will b kick ass, and not be edit in the unrated directors cut lol.
they really messed up leprechaun by sticking him in space, but i feel if they would have had it more of him hunting the kids on earth when they find him, instead of in space, it could have been pulled off
pretty damn cool, john carradine has done some huge movies lol working with people like john wayne and Vincent price and then done some awful stuff lol, not saying the douc is terrible thanks for the heads up i'll have to check that out.
i just watched boogeyman (1980) the other day. It's on demand here in boston and I was not impressed. I think they edited it a lot but it was pretty boring and the acting is terrible. just my thoughts though.
To be honest, my favorite Elm Atreet movie was Freddy's Dead The Final Nightmare. I love the scene with Spencer in the video game and him bouncing around the house
call me crazy but halloween 4 is my favorite of the franchise i think mainly because AMC used to show it during monsterfest when they first started having them during halloween and it brings back memories of comin home stoned and watching it late at night but i think it really is a good movie
yeah i can see that, i have very fond memories of fright night 2 so i always loved it more then the first one. halloween 4 is probably better then i gave credit for in this video.
you should check out "the bogeyman" its not bad. The brat getting smashed by the window is some good stuff..I tried to watch the 2nd one but it looked really shitty. Nice videos man
A horror film that is similar to The Funhouse is called 'Funland', its about a clown that gets fired from a carnival, so he kills people taking revenge. The guy that played the clown played Michael Myers in Halloween 4 and 6.
"The Initiation (1984)" is just like "Happy Birthday To Me". I highly recommend both those films though Id have to favor "The Initiaition" more. Allthough the first half is slow the second half is AMAZING. Check it out if you dont have it.
uhu i think in holland you don't have the rob zombie's halloween 2 disc edtion and director's cut unrated i want them but what is the differents between those 2 the same extra right or not??? damn i want those so bad but i holland you don't have those// only the rated version with NO! extra??

Rob Zombie took a great idea, a masterpiece of horror and dumbed it down...stripped it of it's mystery and subtlety, and thus its effectiveness...and layered it with white-trash characters, foul-mouthed and crass teens that are unlikeable, and poured buckets of blood on it; he made it more "today". That's NOT necessarily a good thing.
he did do all those things, but he also changed the story for worse but then again, the idea of a remake which i usually am against is to change the story, the movie isn't a masterpiece, but it is very entertaining, i enjoy Rob Zombie's cast more then anything, it is filled with genre actors who have paid their due and deserve to been seen by the public eye and apprenticed more. i am just saying for a remake it was good and better then halloween 4-8 by far.
it was butchered alot of scenes were cut out from what i understand i'd love to see the producers cut its supposed to be much better. I did like the raining blood part lol
Good list of horror classics but the only ones I have seen most I have bought are April Fools Day, Black X-Mas,The Burning,Cheerleader Camp, Chopping Mall, Freddy Vs Jason,The Funhouse, Going to Pieces , Halloween Remake (2 Disc Directors Cut), Halloween The Orignal, Halloween 2, Halloween 3: Season of the Witch, Halloween 4, Halloween 5, Halloween 6: Curse of Micheal Myers, H20, Halloween: Resurrection, and Happy Birthday to Me I need to see the rest cause the look really good.
thanks, man i really liked rz's halloween as well, alot of it i believe was the great horror oriented cast, the theater version is the only version for me. i liked scream 1 and 2 was good to but 3 was one of the worst movies i think i've seen for what it was.
i really like rob zombie's redneck trash worlds, also i figured hell i'm not really against the remake this time, it was gonna be better then halloween 4-8 lol.
Have you ever seen the original "Dressed To Kill" with Angie Dickenson and the guy who played the teen in "Christine"? It was pretty good. "Eye's of Laura Mars" is a good one too. Basically it is about a woman who is photographer with gruesome themes to her work and she starts having visions of her friends dieing as if she is seeing through the killers eyes. "Going To Pieces" was a great documentary. "He Knows Your Alone" was pretty good, but Tom had a very small part in it. I loved "HBTM".
no i have not i own the 80's one by depalma but haven't even watched that one yet. going to pieces is awesome i got that one. Happy birthday to me is awesome, i need to watch he know's you're alone.
Didn't "Butcher Baker" have Jimmy McNichols in it? You know, the brother of Christy. I loved Chopping Mall, tons of 80's cliche in it. Plus the girl from "Night Of The Comet" and "Fast Times At Rigemont High" was in it.She played a bit part in Fast Times as a peppy cheer leader type and everybody in the gym thought that she was so lame. LOL Have you seen "The Fog" or "Dead and Buried"? They both are so good and some of my favorites. The new "Fog" is pretty bad though.
i'm not sure. I'm really hoping for the official code red dvd release. Chopping mall is fun (the head boom lol). I always liked dazed and confused better then fast times. The fog by carpenter is cool atkins is awesome cool story as well. Dead and buried is good to early robert englund and the eye scene. thanks for watching.
I liked Dazed and Confused too (I love Parker Posey)and I guess that you like it better than Fast Times is because it was your generation. You can relate better to the characters in that movie. I would say that you are in your 20's???? I liked the feel of Fast Times because that was my generation. The feel of the movie, the clothes, music, and the look of the mall scenes was so me. Most of the people in that movie are around my age also. BTW, I just turned 45 this past Sept. Boy, i'm old. LOL
i guess i can relate to dazed more, i also enjoyed the characters more i'm 22, my birthday is in September as well :) . I really need to give fast times another try.
I have a silly question. I notice you don't use thumbtacks for your posters, what kind of tape do you use? I intend to put up posters to surround my collection myself, I'd like to know other alternatives that'll keep the poster on the wall without using thumbtacks.
i actually do use thumbtacks lol, but they must be super small, my video quality must suck so badly can't see them. There is some special kind of tape thou lots of people use.
your videos rock buddy! i totally agree with you on Rob Zombies Halloween! the theaterical version was so much better then his crappy directors cut! checkout my videos. ive been doing dvd reviews and such. ill have more up soon! def. checkout my page and subscribe if you want!
Black Christmas rocks. It gets creapier the more times you watch it. That is excellent film making. The remake looks stupid and I see no point waisting the time...ozzyrulz777 hit the nail on the head.
I still haven't seen The Burning. The next time I am at my record store, I'll pick it up.
I have been trying to rent the Burning and either I keep missing it...or it's not in stock at my cult store. I had the film in my hand a few days ago....kicking myself for not getting it. You all have been ranting about it in such a positive way, I feel like a dumbass now. It'll be in my collection soon enough. Even if I have special order it. I tend to support local businesses to keep em open.
I love the places the booze gets hidden in Black Christmas...LOL.
hope i did over rate the burning for you, but if your a slasher fan you'll be happy. yeah that lady was awesome in black Christmas a bit of a shock when she bit it lol.
I watched The Burning lastnight. I must say it was more sick and twisted than Friday the 13th. It is soooo fucking great. I don't jump while watching movies....this one I did. Sweet call on the recomendation. Thank you.
But Yeah I want to see the burning, I'm waiting on an import of madman right now. I'm suprised I havn't seen phantasm in any of your videos, but you probably got it.
the burning is a slasher must, my favorite. I have another non-traditional slasher section where phantasm resides :). i really need nekromantik thou its been on my wishlist for ever.
Yeah I just picked up The Burning, The Prowler, and Stagefright off of amazon, can't wait for those to get here. Nekromantik is out of print now too, so I would pick it up while you can still get it at a decent price.
..."Along time ago when I was a youngy"...LOL you are a youngy. You show a collection of movies and then include a number of titles that you havent even bothered to watch..In this video you seemed more concerened with your hair and adjusting you shirt of then the actual movies

i really like rob zombie's redneck trash worlds, also i figured hell i'm not really against the remake this time, it was gonna be better then halloween 4-8 lol.
mrparka 3 years ago
Have you ever seen the original "Dressed To Kill" with Angie Dickenson and the guy who played the teen in "Christine"? It was pretty good. "Eye's of Laura Mars" is a good one too. Basically it is about a woman who is photographer with gruesome themes to her work and she starts having visions of her friends dieing as if she is seeing through the killers eyes. "Going To Pieces" was a great documentary. "He Knows Your Alone" was pretty good, but Tom had a very small part in it. I loved "HBTM".
JWJNC 3 years ago
no i have not i own the 80's one by depalma but haven't even watched that one yet. going to pieces is awesome i got that one. Happy birthday to me is awesome, i need to watch he know's you're alone.
mrparka 3 years ago
Didn't "Butcher Baker" have Jimmy McNichols in it? You know, the brother of Christy. I loved Chopping Mall, tons of 80's cliche in it. Plus the girl from "Night Of The Comet" and "Fast Times At Rigemont High" was in it.She played a bit part in Fast Times as a peppy cheer leader type and everybody in the gym thought that she was so lame. LOL Have you seen "The Fog" or "Dead and Buried"? They both are so good and some of my favorites. The new "Fog" is pretty bad though.
JWJNC 3 years ago
i'm not sure. I'm really hoping for the official code red dvd release. Chopping mall is fun (the head boom lol). I always liked dazed and confused better then fast times. The fog by carpenter is cool atkins is awesome cool story as well. Dead and buried is good to early robert englund and the eye scene. thanks for watching.
mrparka 3 years ago
I liked Dazed and Confused too (I love Parker Posey)and I guess that you like it better than Fast Times is because it was your generation. You can relate better to the characters in that movie. I would say that you are in your 20's???? I liked the feel of Fast Times because that was my generation. The feel of the movie, the clothes, music, and the look of the mall scenes was so me. Most of the people in that movie are around my age also. BTW, I just turned 45 this past Sept. Boy, i'm old. LOL
JWJNC 3 years ago
i guess i can relate to dazed more, i also enjoyed the characters more i'm 22, my birthday is in September as well :) . I really need to give fast times another try.

buddy remakes most of the time suck
horror1fan86 3 years ago
i know this all to well lol. Every horror fan can usually count the remake they've enjoyed on there hands.
mrparka 3 years ago
*count the remakes they liked on there fingers lol
mrparka 3 years ago
Thought just before dawn was overrated too, probably the first backwoods killer kind of movie, rituals, is pretty cool. Do you know it?
NickCarroll66 3 years ago
i got the vhs of rituals but haven't watched it yet, it looks good.
mrparka 3 years ago

Vahag4Kobe4Y2J 3 years ago
i like the first 3 and the remake the rest i didn't care for much.
mrparka 3 years ago
Oh man, i love the burning. The scene where the kids get killed on the little boat is so awesome. i love when the kid gets his fingers chopped off.
mylothumbs92 3 years ago
the burning is my holy grail in slashers lol. poor fisher stevens lol.
mrparka 3 years ago
I have a silly question. I notice you don't use thumbtacks for your posters, what kind of tape do you use? I intend to put up posters to surround my collection myself, I'd like to know other alternatives that'll keep the poster on the wall without using thumbtacks.
Thanks.
ninjacondor 3 years ago
i actually do use thumbtacks lol, but they must be super small, my video quality must suck so badly can't see them. There is some special kind of tape thou lots of people use.
mrparka 3 years ago

Black Christmas rocks. It gets creapier the more times you watch it. That is excellent film making. The remake looks stupid and I see no point waisting the time...ozzyrulz777 hit the nail on the head.
I still haven't seen The Burning. The next time I am at my record store, I'll pick it up.
Great job on pt one.
Dayofthedead1976 3 years ago
black christmas is good stuff i always like john saxon lol. the remake does look bad. i can not stress enough love for the burning lol.
mrparka 3 years ago
I have been trying to rent the Burning and either I keep missing it...or it's not in stock at my cult store. I had the film in my hand a few days ago....kicking myself for not getting it. You all have been ranting about it in such a positive way, I feel like a dumbass now. It'll be in my collection soon enough. Even if I have special order it. I tend to support local businesses to keep em open.
I love the places the booze gets hidden in Black Christmas...LOL.
Dayofthedead1976 3 years ago
hope i did over rate the burning for you, but if your a slasher fan you'll be happy. yeah that lady was awesome in black Christmas a bit of a shock when she bit it lol.
mrparka 3 years ago
I watched The Burning lastnight. I must say it was more sick and twisted than Friday the 13th. It is soooo fucking great. I don't jump while watching movies....this one I did. Sweet call on the recomendation. Thank you.
Dayofthedead1976 3 years ago
But Yeah I want to see the burning, I'm waiting on an import of madman right now. I'm suprised I havn't seen phantasm in any of your videos, but you probably got it.
DirtyRottenInsult 3 years ago
the burning is a slasher must, my favorite. I have another non-traditional slasher section where phantasm resides :). i really need nekromantik thou its been on my wishlist for ever.
mrparka 3 years ago
Yeah I just picked up The Burning, The Prowler, and Stagefright off of amazon, can't wait for those to get here. Nekromantik is out of print now too, so I would pick it up while you can still get it at a decent price.
