  • shambles

  • i like his spaz moment at the start heh

  • 3 min song originally 2 mins lol

  • I am also a musician. His tempi are VERY slow but after all he must be credited for trying hard and being very good sport. It is noteworthy that the professional conductor Antonio Pappano also momentarily conducted a waltz in "four" instead of three in an appalling TV broadcast from Naples Italy some time ago.

  • I have never been a fan of Pappano, and I agree with what you say.

  • I'm a violinist and I have actually played this piece in orchestra. If he was conducting me I think I would want to shoot myself. However, good effort.

  • i was in the audience at this concert, my god it was so funny :p

  • I'm getting visions of Alan Sugar with a zimmer frame for some reason. Can't think why.

  • I love how Peter Stark is just laughing in the background!

  • Thanks so much for posting this!

  • I would have loved him to conduct Hall of the Mountain King instead, would be interested in how it would turn out

  • ...we'd still be here waiting for it to finish ;)

Good old Peter - what a gentleman, what a sport!

  • Pretty terrible. A bit like forcing a car out of gloop-thats how slow it is.

  • What is this peice he's conducting?

  • Prokofiev's Montagues and Capulets I think.

  • Yes, it's The Dance of the Knights from Prokofiev's Romeo & Juliet

  • me and my mum couldnt stop laughin !

  • Brilliant!! Love the begining!! ha ha ha

  • Laugh out loud funny EVERY TIME.
