Btw guys if ur new, try the red front cap first, the few tries u will fail, but u hafta try it about 100 times to get it right, OD is a very powerful thing to learn

He was using no HUD or rets so that he could keep the general aesthetics as clean as possible ;)

Read the description 'I tried to keep the general aesthetic as clean as possible in terms of hud/editing etc so its pretty minimal'

hey just commenting but some of those routes u put as hard and seriously tough r actually quite easy and simple

I have grown to use "Red front RJ turn" at 2:40 for both teams.

Sadly you don't need a rocket jump.

Yeah, you don't have to RJ on some routes any more with the newer physics.

When the vid was made it was a little harder to get the sort of height you need to OD off the top of the tower without an RJ.

He most likely has his OD button on space and his jump in right click. Extremely hard to get used to, if you have been playing with the right button as OD/ski.

Furthermore whilst you have been a good community manager over there Zhou, i hope you realise it is an utterly fruitless endeavour as the game won't take off which is evidenced by most of the original core Garage Games guys (the ones with tribes backgrounds), have jumped ship. This is unless the corporate parent injects a tonne of money into the game to have it anywhere near enjoyable to establish a critical customer base, but i hardly see that happening. Looks like it will be more marble blast!

Pity the game is trash, freedom of movement but no friggin control. The whole jet slider concept is a stupid incorporation of skiing from the original tribes games, you just slide off edges all over the place and THEN forcing you to link this to be able to jet amplifies the problem, not to mention the terrible jetting physics and lack of sustainable 'in air' (z axis) play that made tribes great.Also the 2 maps are the same unimaginative towers placed in a 500 * 500m box with diff ground textures
