Remember down the industrial road, right behind the nursing home on the italian side of town, there was that huge factory with the smokestacks? I spent hours in there in high school and was devastated to return from college to find they tore it down.

not really at 44 seconds the two holes in the wall actually connect to the building like a less than a foot away from it which is still an open factory...
None of these factories are destroyed or abanondoned because of mine fires. The picture of the first one on your website was an old rail house where they would fix and refuel trains, the only reason it got torndown was because a kid got hurt in there during a drinking party, not because of a mine fire. The 1 in this vid is an old welding factory which was just abandoned becuase it went out of business. The mine fire of carbondale was mainly in the area of where carbondale highschool is now.

it isnt in carbondale it is in simpson... if you go from the end of the industrial road from the west side to simpson it is just past the bridge

@jordanfortuner The entire "Industrial" was once the Carbondale D&H yard. Had more than 50 miles of track laid there back in the day.
