Tony Stewart did not want to drive a Toyota. That and probably because this was his last year with JGR that made the season so tough for him. I mean only one win in 2008? Even though Regan Smith shoulda won that Dega race, but that's besides the point. Stewart just...idk he must not have been truly happy in 2008.

Tony really didn't look good in a TOYOTA anyway...2008 was his worst season statwise 1 win and a lot of spotty finishes elsewhere, and they constantly were shifting all the resources and the equipment to Kyle Busch's side of the operation. Also Stewart's contract situation made it pretty clear this would be a tough year. He also drives for Harvick on some Nationwide weekends, he and Harvick know where they stand.

That was cool of Tony to not go overly explosive and go after Harvick, but he made it sound like it was his fault. I saw the replays, and it wasn't, Kevin just hit the apron, got out of shape, and took out Tony.

Kevin and Tony are great friends.. Good class by stewart. Harvick didn't do this on purpose and stewart knew he didn't. Harvick didn't have to do it on purpose when Harvick had 125 lap fresher tires. It's a shame but good class by both of thiese guys! Harvick is the man!
