@DaveDaRave1980 Dave, don't know why your comments have been removed; I didn't delete anything. Quite the contrary, I thought your comment was very touching.
The Bilingual album just keeps growing on me over the.. decades. Initially I wasn't that keen on it but it matures like good wine. Such rich sounds, such great melodies, such good lyrics.
Such a mesmerizing and beautiful song, one of their best. It speaks so clearly about all of the friends I have lost, all of the people I have met, even if briefly, in my life, and about questioning how I survived my younger years when some of those close to me did not.
Olliespike2,I am so jealous.....lol. U r so so lucky to have met Neil Tennant, I have loved the Pet shop boys, since I was 9yrs old and I am 30yrs old now. I am a loyal fan,I live for the day I will meet them 1 fine sunny day. :)
This has been my absolute, hands down, personal favorite song from PSB. In my opinion, it's one of the most overlooked songs in PSB history, so much better than some of the official single releases, but album tracks often are the best anyway. An absolute gorgeous song.
An outstanding Pet Shop Boys song. They have done so many songs that can appear as 'hidden gems'. This would have been great for a film. Very moving....
I was a recording artist in London and was introduced to him by a collegue..he is such a great guy..really down to earth...I would have really liked to have worked with him..maybe in future.!!
A song filled with heartfelt and beautiful lyrics, but my favorite is "If life is worth living, it's got to be run as a means of giving, not as a race to be won"
@boyjohn Couldn't agree more with your comment about the song being full of heartfelt and beautiful lyrics, but personally I love the line "Many roads will cross through many lives, but somehow we'll survive". So profound! A gorgeous song, and one which helped me through the grief in 1997 when my best mate tragically died at just 23
nesse mundo de hoje em que nós estamos vivendo, fassa valer a pena cada dia de nossa vida PSB forever.

incredible song from PSB's...possibly their best ever.
I lived in London for 14 years and this always reminds me of my time there.
I met Neil once and he signed my copy of this album and was a cool and friendly gentleman.
