i was just wondering about the sound quality of the itouch.

Is the sound quality (with the headphones in) as good as other ipods? as i have read a few reviews which state it is not.

As i am interested in purchasing one, i would just like to know how good the sound quality really is.

Just FYI, the first generation iPod Touch doesn't, but the second generation iPod Touch has internal speakers just like the iPhone. the 2nd generate iPod Touch has been out since early September.

nope, the new ipod touch 2nd gen. has in built speakers inside of it. it may look like the iphone because of the silver outline but thats also a new feature.

Im kinda disappointed i still haven't bought my ipod but i was playing with the one of my friend and the speakers are really bad!! like if there is no noise around you its OK...but when theTV is on or even the microwave :P thats it you cant hear ANYTHING!! Its still an amazing Ipod but the speakers they should REALLY improve it...im now thinking about getting an iphone instead!

Well for the record I don't use limewire, but yeah if theyre a supported format like .mp3, then the ipod will play em. The sound quality depends on the .mp3 file you downloaded...

bass is pretty bad. very treble sounding. I'll I have to say is that if you listen to a lot of rap, you're gonna want earphones

if u know how to get the right songs u dont get viruses

ive never heard of frostwire but im sure it works the same way, just know what youre doing by talking to someone who has had it for a long time

really the sound quality just depends on the type of song your playing. something with less bass usually like coldplay would sound better than say a typical rap song with big beats and bass yknow. Pop? Not sure what you mean, if you mean break than no, theyre not gonna break
