  • How about they MP 7 i need to know my MP7 needs to be adjust ? HELP ME or please send me a link to a MP 7 adjustment video

  • Thank you so much, you really helped me out!

  • how to do this on Combat Zone RS2?

  • airsoft nation! where can i get a 2mm hex key?

  • @Hernanrules Most hardware and home improvement stores sell metric hex (allen) key sets such as Lowe's and Home Depot.

  • i wish i had this info earlyer it would have saved me 100 bucks

  • thanks so much, perfect!!

I thought the gun was "shot". I was searching all over the net and only coming up with the most complicated problems as diagnosis. You did a great presentation here.

  • HOW ABT THE SCAR?? :(

  • @WhyFrostie The motor adjustment for the SCAR is on the bottom of the pistol grip just like an M4. Most have a larger slotted screw instead of the smaller hex screw.

  • @shortyusa i opened my m4`s pistol grip and there is a washer look-alike but they call that a spacer,i dont know where it is placed, thanks.

  • @GsxRaider The disc sits on top of the motor and is what the motor height adjustment screw bottoms out against. Go to our channel and watch our video on "Basic AEG Troubleshooting". It will show where that disc goes.

  • I have a dboys m4 cqb plastic gun and I can't find the motor adjustment screw someone help me? :(

  • ok so my gun is making the same noise but the only screw there is to just take it the bottom of the handle off. i open it to get to the motor but there is a bar blocking it.. any help please?

  • @jakegill619 What gun do you have?

  • My airsoft gun stops half a cycle into its shot!!!!!

    NOTE:

    my motor is adjusted correctly

my motor has the torque to pull the spring

my battery is charged + i use smart chargers

my anti-reversal latch is not causing this

  • Same with me ac Berger

  • Whenever I tighten it all it does is make a noise like its trying to move but it doesnt and i feel it in the grip a little but it doesnt shoot, and if i loosen it i just get the screechy noise

  • I have the same problem. That screeching noise. I've tightened, loosened the motor adjustment and still get the same horrible sound. I know that my battery's are working fine, the work on my other AEG. Plus there charged with a smart charger. I have a Matrix lipoly ready 8mm gearbox full metal M4 Carbine 360-400 FPS. I opened up the gearbox and everything is in it's place and nothing is tore down. I have a magnum motor, this can't be happening. Please help me ShortyUSA. Please

  • @StreetScooterers Well, Matrix is Evike's brand so you would be better off directing this question to them. However, if it is making a screeching sound then something in that gearbox is slipping. I would double check all of the teeth on the piston and gears including the pinion gear on the motor. If it is a Systema Magnum motor then the pinion gear might be broken or worn down. They were notorious for having weak pinion gears.

  • @ScottishRugby23 I'd verify first that your battery is working correctly in another rifle. If so then it sounds like your gearbox is locked up which could be a broken gear amoung other things. You'd have to have someone open it up to find out.

  • can you change the ROF by adjusting it

  • @futurerev21 No, this only affects how the gears mesh together.

  • @shortyusa Do you know why an AEG will shoot automatic when on semi-automatic? If so plz tell me how to fix it.

  • @iLikeGuns88 Most likely because the cut off lever inside of your gearbox is either wore down or broken. Unfortunately that is a rather involved project which requires complete disassembly of the gearbox.

  • @shortyusa That sucks... thanks though.

  • I just recieved a A&K masada and right out of the box it made tht nose any advice?

  • @blowpenguin It's possible the motor height needs adjustment. We've had guns before that needed it right out of the box. Rare but not unheard of.

  • @shortyusa what do you mean adjustmant? make a video on it

  • @blowpenguin The video you are commenting on is the video for motor height adjustment. The Masada I believe has a larger slotted screw for the motor height adjustment on the bottom center of the pistol grip.

  • absoloutly awesome lads thought my ics m4 was fucked but yous hav saved my guns life thumbs up :D god im so damn happy :) thanks

  • i have tried this method with my mp5 but no matter how tight or loose i twist it, the annoying sharp lazer buzzing sound keeps happening. i dont know what to o

  • @pie5135 Unfortunately if adjusting the motor height does not correct the issue that normally means that something is stripped.

  • @shortyusa Well last week i tried adjusting it and it fixed the gun but for some reason after using it for a long time (2 hours strait) the gun started making a lazer sound. BUT i did try somthing to fix the gun: i took off the cap off the motor adjusting thing on the bottom of the pistol grip and right where the bottom of the motor was, i placed a thin sheet of paper to lift up the motor a bit and then put the motor adjustment bottom thing back on. now it works fine, but does it ruin my gun?

  • @pie5135 If you put a piece of paper in-between the motor and the base plate then you shimmed the motor to push it down further into the gears. Tightening the motor adjustment should have done the same thing unless you have bottomed it out. If the shim works, that's great though.

  • @Laofse Yes, that is correct. Also, properly greasing the gears will reduce gear noise.

  • ok so to fix my ak i just need a alen key and turn clockwise?

  • @SomeNooB69 If your motor is slipping then chances that would fix it.

  • @SomeNooB69 yes that is all you need to do i just fixed my m4 :)

  • thank you shortyusa. you saved me like 100$ on new gears and a motor for no reason. your a life saver yet again

  • my guns fuse and motor connections are fine but when i fire, nothing comes out and it makes a high pitched sqealing noise or no sound at all. I've tried adjusting the motor height but can't get it to the right sound. Any help?

  • If you have a V2 gearbox you could take the base plate off and hold the motor in manually while pulling the trigger to see if you can get it to catch. If it doesn't fire doing this you most likely have a stripped gear or piston. If you look into the feed tube while you pull the trigger see if you can tell if the air nozzle is moving back and forth. If it is then your piston is stripped. If not, it is most likely a gear.

  • @shortyusa I've tried holding the motor manually like you said and pushing/pulling it to different heights. I get different sounds, but none are the correct sound and still nothing fires. What do you mean by "feed tube?"

  • The feed tube is the tube in your rifles magazine well (hole in the rifle which you insert the magazine into) which the BBs feed from the magazine and into the rifle through.

  • @xXRequiremXx my motor slips when i pull the trigger to fire single shot i have an styer aug i need some help

  • aww i just took apart my whole gun and thats what was wrong lol

  • Yes, sorry we don't have any of those. If I remember correctly it has a larger flat head screw as the motor adjustment.

  • Thank you! You helped save my AEG

  • i think my motor is fried for my m4, what type of motor would be good for it? it doesnt make the sound, but it use to.

    PLZ ANSWER!

  • this vid helped me so much . i have a thompson and it has been doing that for a while now and i didnt know how to fix it.

  • same wit me! the cyma one..

  • I have a JG M4 S-System and I recently changed one of the connectors on the motor because one of them snapped off. But that one was to bulky and so I ordered one online that's the same size and now it wont fire. It's making noise like it wants to turn, but its not firing...Any ideas please? I will try to adjust the height when my battery charges

  • LOL i have a video of a really schrewed up motor hieght. Its fixed or was but it just started acting up again. Thanks for the vid.

  • Will the gun not shoot if the motor adjustment is way off.....my gun makes more of a chunky noise like it has a low battery even tho it doesn't it also won't fire....could this be y?

  • The motor adustment could be too tight so that the pinion gear is binding up with the bevel gear. That is vary rare though since usually they get looser not tighter. You might want to double check that battery in another gun to verify that is really is working.

  • @shortyusa what about on a jg sig 552 ? you didnt show sig series in your vid ?

  • The adjustment screw is in-between the two larger screws on the SIG 552 just like an MP5.

  • Dude, what if that happened to a CYMA cm.022 AK-47? There ain't no screw on the bottom...

  • The CM.022 is not a true AEG and does not have this feature. Sorry!

  • ??? AEG is Automatic Electric Gun. From what I know, my gun is automatic and electric.

  • The CM.022 is an electric gun and yes it is automatic. However, the term AEG refers to an electric gun with a standardized gearbox (V1, V2, ect.) such as the rifles made by Tokyo Marui who were the pioneers of AEGs. Later on companies like CYMA came out with imitations of these guns such as the CM.022, CM.023 and CM.020 which had smaller, lower powered gearboxes. Since they were nothing like the guns which everyone knew as AEGs they were deemed LPEGs (Low Powered Electric Gun).

  • holy crap i looked at this video and fixed my saaw and tompson thanks man

  • When I get my first AEG, I'm very sure this will be helpful. Thanks.

  • By adjusting the motor could it also make the AEG quieter?

  • Yes, it can. If the motor is not adjusted correctly it can have more of a whine to it.

  • first time this happen to me is crap myself

  • My mp5 has stopped working and the motor doesnt run anymore and the trigger may be shot as in the cord going toward the gearbox. Please Help!!!

  • fuse MIGHT have gone

  • o thank you!

Where can i get another one?

  • no probs thts what it sounds like im not a gun expert but id say any fuse and u could probly watch a video to install it as well

  • Any gas station, hardware store, lamp store. Check the cord that you plug your battery in to. It should have a round plastic casing about 4 inches in that contains the fuse. Just open this and check wheter the thin metal rod inside the fuse is damaged in any way.

If it is then you just need to take it out, bring it to the store and they will get you a new one. It will probably cost you somewhat less than 4 bucks (some 20 norwegian kroners, dunno exact price).

  • its okay i already know. But thanks anyway!!

    great explanation

  • hey guys...

No matter how much i tighten it, it still makes that noise and it doesn't decrease in intensity when i tighten the screw. Does this mean that i need to switch to a new gun?

  • Then unfortunately the issue might not be the height of the motor. You might have something stripped.

  • Nice vid. I accidentaly di unscrew the m.h.a. screw and after that tried to set it back right. There is one simple thing to do, tighten the screw to max and then make one full turn (360 deg.) back to loosen it.

  • if i adjust this and its firing fine will it make it fire more rapidly?

  • No, you would most likely end up making it fire worse or not at all. If it is firing fine, don't try adjusting it.

  • Is there a trick to getting into the hole on a M14 series...you can't see where its going once you get it through the hole and don't want to ruin it

  • You just have to go by feel. You can easily tell when it goes in since you will feel resistance when you turn it.

  • Am I hurting the gun by moving the scew around trying to find the whole...May have the wrong size..Will go to Lowe's tomorrow and see if they can tell which one is the 1.5 mm

  • my friend did this and now it wont fire!

  • Ok, if it fired before then why did he try adjusting the motor? If the motors height was changed when it was firing ok then that could cause it to not fire anymore.

  • well first, I didnt mean that as an insult shorty, I love you guys I just ordered a GBB yesterday from you guys :). but it sounded like that so he adjusted it

  • Not a problem. He might have tightened that screw too much so that the motor locked up from being forced into the gears. Tell him to try backing it out a half turn at a time and see if it works.

  • I think he may have tried that. Im pretty sure its a bad gun anyway(Matrix SCAR) so hes gonna send it to some shop. Can you guys fix it? Can he send it in to you?

  • No, sorry. We only handle the warranty work on the guns we sell.

  • ok well I have another question for you guys. I ordered a kjw m9 on friday and it came a little while ago. I immediately unboxed, loaded the mag with propane, and put some bb's in the mag. when I was filling the mag with propane, AND shooting the gun, all I smelt was propane. Is this normal? is this safe?

  • The gun uses expanding gas (propane) to operate. So, yes you will smell it while filling it and during operation. I just wouldnt suggest smoking while shooting the gun.

  • haha yea I told everyone to leave their lighters at home haha.. and is there anyway to avoid this?

  • No, sorry that's just the way it is.

  • i mean when i eventually get one in a year or so

  • Nope, my batteries both work in my G&G GR16.

  • M4 OR M16???

  • the M4

  • as always, great vid guys.

  • this is very helpful for my m4

  • Thank goodness you had it for the Thompson. Mine isn't doing that, but it helps to know.

  • Man i realy want to buy my first AEG but they sound so high maintenence.

  • Not if u buy a good gun from a great company and if u take good care of it

  • just stay away from any make of m4 m4's =high maintenance go for a g36c or mp5 or g3 style

  • My G36 makes that vacuum cleaner noise, but when I tightened it it doesn't fix. I've been having to adjust the motor for the past 5 months and now it just gave out.

  • thanks i didnt even know that screw was their. thanks.

  • I'll keep this in mind when i get an AEG. Thanks.

  • thanks for the tip!

  • nice vid
