hello my friend i got Toshiba Satellite l500 i was have win 7 home premium and i download win 7 all in one i did win 7 ultimate so i download some of drivers but when i plug in the cable of network its show me that is working but its not working when i hit trouble shot its saying might its broken or no driver or adapter so what is the driver name for i download it to be working ??

this is an awesome laptop it looks cool it has the best audio in the buisness even better than a beats audio (as far as the onboard speakers) i cant speak for the x305 and 505 but the 205 is a P.O.S. when its working and not in the shop you will love it.problem its cooling cant keep up with the inferno inside of it.YOU WILL LOSE THE MOTHER BOARD YOU WILL LOSE THE VIDEO CARDS STAY AWAY.

I almost have the same laptop, ... but with with a stock graphic card... But I am able to play games... I want to upgrade it, so I can do 3D (with Softimage... am not talking about the 3D with glasses...)

all you guys talkin smack about this laptop are on some kinda drug; it's phenomenal. Had mine for 2 1/2 years and it STILL runs everything maxed out. The Witcher, DA:O, you name it.

I just got one of these. 512mb not 256 on the gfx and these were NEVER 1080. They are at best 1680x1050 which means it CAN NOT DO 1080 HD! It falls back to 720. Other then that, having RAID locked out of the BIOS is sort of BS (thanks toshiba) but a 7200rpm drive helps it out alot. Win 7 runs fine but goodluck getting the subwoofer to work. Plan on a factory vista install then upgrade to 7 and the sub will work. I tried 5 divfferent drivers for 7 with no luck but vista upgraded to 7 works.

@lazzer408 well you might not have this exact model. mine runs 7 perfectly fine in 1080p and the sub works fine. the only problem i've had with it is that lately it seems one of the fans has stopped working and the video drivers from toshiba are complete crap. but, if you're going to buy a laptop, you're probably not going to get this one. it's definitely dated by now. it runs modern warfare 2 on medium settings pretty well, though. and with the fan issues Guild Wars and EVE DO overheat it

I just got a toshiba sat pro 2100 with 512 ram at 2 GHZ with pentium4-M.Nvidia graphics all for 80GBP! thats a bargain!

ya it wont run gta 4 but this video was made in 2007 when core 2 duo was new and before gta 4 even came out lol and that graphics card is a pretty good one even for today but the ram so in other words this video is out of date and you can buy much better computers

Lol I Have the same laptop. Only difference is I don't have the HDMI port and the finger scanning thing. It's a good laptop. I downgraded from vista to XP though.

The problem with some toshiba laptops it's installed with HD-DVD, because toshiba developed

HD-DVD. HD-DVD is already dead and BLURAY(BD) is

the format winner. And they still continue shipping laptop with HD-DVD drives.

As I said before, I had both- Sli3 and this. I played on them fe: Crysis (which supports SLI!). Guess what! On dual 8600M GT (same resolution 1440x900, medium high settings) in SLi I get only about 25-30 FPS and on one 8700M GT (on this coputer) I get 30-to even 50. So I recommend the S9359!!!

The thing is that the latest games, and the ones to come, sure will support SLI, so the Sli1/Sli3 will be better...

Regarding to the guy that said that the s9359 was better than the sli3... he is wrong... In games that support SLI, the dual 8600Mgt cards will outperform the 8700mgt easily... Also, when comes to video cards, the memory is not the most impotant... Now if u play a game that doesnt support sli (so you will be working with a single 8600m GT) obviusly the 8700m gt will do better...

Sli3 is (in my opinion) worse than that one. It has dual Nvidia 8600M GT, but 2x 256MB of mem. I figured that one 8700M GT with 512MB of mem is better, it worked a lot better in games (i had s9359 and SLi3- now I have only s9359) I recommend this one

Yeah he has the higher end flare carmine version. The higher end one has 512mb of video ram with its Nvidia geforce 8700 gt, which can run games better, but i recomend the lower end version myself, especially at best buy, i got mine for 1850.00 when it was on sale.

i actually have this same laptop, but i just want to point out that this guy made a mistake. Its actually 512mb vram for the Nvidia 8700m GT. The lower model has the 256mb.
