Yes there was a few world class goals but only a small number and as for being top seeds, excuse me but Argentina and France were top seeds and and pre-tournament faves and got difficult group of death yet lucky Brazil got the easier group. Ronaldinho is overrated, he practically disappeared at the age of 26 when most footballers are still good till their early 30s. Also did v little at PSG.

Interesting that most of the people who loved this shite world cup are from England or Ireland.

One reason I loved the '02 world cup is because I'm all about the underdog, and that was the ultimate world cup for unfancied teams (up until the final at least) - Senegal, Turkey, the hosts Japan and above all, South Korea. Great to watch
