If you know you are going to play on bigger maps, do you use the same tank perks? Because I like to roll with Maintenance, Zoom optics and Lmg. And when I see enemy tank I usually drive sideways and shoot, even though I know front takes less dmg or I just rush against them start to rotate the tower to the side I will be passing enemy tank and shoot the back of the tank, because 1) Ppl seldom turns their tanks so it's huge dmg boost and 2) I get "free" shot, due barrels moves slowly.

You kill him before he detonates, but in the next sequence the C4 is gone - how did you get rid of it? Tank die? He respawned and detonated but wasn't enough to take out the tank? Something else?
@TheRealBardman I don't think he knew about the exploit to blow it after death and we killed him. Usually we jump out and inspect the tank for the C4 while he's waiting to respawn. If we can't find it, we stand back for a few seconds to see if he's gonna blow it. if not, keep looking for it as it will blow up when you get shot by something explosive.

@EShAn309 sorry for late reply. The main cannon has terrible splash damage. You have to use a LMG or cannister to clear up the people usually. And get a good gunner who can hop out and hide behind you and heal while you're taking damage. Only way to do it.
@slipknot4life08 again, sorry for late reply. Turn the gun (CITV turns fastest so I use that to turn to the back of the tank). Whichever way you're looking in the tank will be the direction you jump out.

Of course they made the maps intentionally bad, like they refresehed everything. Activision is owned by a huge media company Vivendi, which doesn't care about gaming, just money. Why make a good game when you already got milions from preorders? They won't make a better game, because they need to spend more money, and since COD is the #1 selling game they don't care. They won't make a better game for a 2x production cost for 20% sell increase. They just milk their costumers.
Reactive is such a great perk. When you're running it you can take up to three direct hits from an enemy tank just by repositioning yourself so that you expose the side, then front, then other side to the enemy.
I run with a couple of guys and we do the exact same thing as you. Great video!
i used to do the magnification perk, but then i switched to infrared, its harder to get tanks from a distance, but that shit is deadly on urban maps and maps with alot of trees trying to find people that are hiding

@thetram156 yes there are guided missiles for tanks. for land-based vehicles you can lock them yourself (just wait for the tone to become a solid beeeeeeep) then fire away. On aircraft, you need someone to paint them for you with the CITV (last tank unlock) or a SOFLAM or the chopper laser painter. Then you acquire lock the same way as a land vehicle and crank him rick.
Wouldnt it be better to turn the tank to the side when facing another tank, because when the shells are reloading, you can quickly move horizontally, rather than just facing them up front not moving?
@EIE3577 That also only works at long ranges, if your not far enough all the other tank has to do is properly lead the shell in the direction your moving(because your only moving back and forth, very predictable) and chances are you wont be able to move out of the shell's path. Tanks have the strongest armor on the front, the weakest in the back, and the sides have armor values in between the two, so its best to face the other tank head on.
