hey man just a tip, because I have 400s, after u click the cue u don't have to hold it you can then click play (whilst holding cue) then let go of both and it continues. Hope in made sense nice mix BTW

Soz, I'm completely new to this, but I really don't unerstand how you controll the music. Don't get me wrong, I've just gotten into dubstep, I just want to know hat you're doing on the vid. I just can't see wat you're doing and match it with the music. Really good though!
I start the mix off on the deck closest to the camera. While the track is playing on that deck, I'm cueing the next track up in my headphones on the other deck. When I'm "scratching", I'm actually just scrubbing the first kick of the downbeat back and forth, so that when I drop the second track it's easier to get in time.
When the track is in time, I'm ready to start it, at the appropriate time ;D. Generally I like to fade between tracks...I'm not much of a drop mixer.
ur using cdj's.....every artist i have seen mix live, caspa, coki,joker, distance, mala, skream, loefah, 16bit, to name some have used vinyl, get some real decks (vinyl) and start really mixing then practise and i rkn u will see the light
@moltar112, Whilst I respect your opinion, I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. I guess I'm not every artist ;). Yeah, vinyl is cool again, what with time coded records and whatnot, but I'm very happy with my current set up, and have no plans on changing.
I don't really see how mixing is that different. You still have to cue and beatmatch. The only difference is that I don't have to spend money replacing vinyl and cartridges. Plus my CDJs take up alot less space.
@gioplaya123 suck me off pal i mix vinyl and there is bare sick tunes out there, check out latest releases on subway, sour grapes, urban graffiti, digital soundboy, dubwiser, tectonic, deep medi, just to name a few.

You see them using vinyl but they are probably using Serato scratch live... Which is totally digital!
