@ratdoghippy 99% balsa wood. They are very delicate because they need to be light. And if you think these crumple, think again. These are some of the more robust models. The larger 40% and 30% ones will pretty much total on every landing these guys did. The best landing in this vid has to be the worst one you ever do with those.

I'm NOT an idiot! Most of the clips appear to be in a very rural area. That said, I wouldn't fly near a busy highway. Anything can go wrong even with the best flyer and equipment. Quit being such a safety nazi.

It wouldn't be too windy to fly, if the pilots would learn to take of AND land with plane headed INTO the wind instead of trying to take off travelling WITH the wind. Take-off dirt & exhaust trails say MOST take-off crashes shown were direct result of trying to take off in wrong direction for wind conditions!

nice touch and go dude, the rool was cool too, but its too winds to be flying that first plane, and some people need help takein off and landing. oh, and about the 2 channel red plane where he dumped the parts out, i have the same one, and i did the same thing with it! (nose dive form cell fone interference)oh, and if the plane is bigger than your arm, done launch it unless you cant take off for some reason. hope this helps.
