sorry John Deere but after 18,000hrs on your gear you will never beat a Timberpro tf840 lets face it you dont tip toe through the bush nor feather the grapple all day long like some of the videos you see, you push the things to their maximum capabilities and beyond. i have completed just over 4000 hrs on a new tf840 and would never go back to a John Deere. the tf840 lifts twice as much, twice the slew power. more stable, reliable, practical, how ever still way too under powered on their feet.

Nice but what was wrong with the swinging seat? So much could go wrong just so the operator doesn't have to move his head, down time is the biggest killer to logging operations...

This is a time saver, too - you'll never have a girder covering your view of the grapple, and you also get automatically turned around when you move forward, which means you'll get a better view and can chose more wisely where to go. A back cam is good, but not optimal! I was 1-way Valmet until I saw this machine, now JD might compete atleast on the forwarder front.

@peatz06 With the rolling cabin, you can roll around all the way back to the extraction point. Well at least that was what i did when we had an E-series forwarder on a test.
