In my opinion, people need to make citizens arrest on suspiciously violent individuals that are about to commit a crime, especially those masked. If the individuals throw rocks at the police, who is going to get beat down? Thats why.

Also judging by the size and the Marx-Lenin-Mao flags those guys look like Revolutionary Communist party members... and they are known with being highly confrontational towards police

This is the RED ZONE of the demonstration. The three police provocateurs were caught in the GREEN ZONE. As any self-respecting activist knows, protests are divided into ZONES depending on the level of activism expected. The majority of activists in this ZONE shown here were more aggressive in their confrontations with the police. Unless you're saying that fully half of the people at the main riot line infront of the Chateau were "provocateurs", then you're talking out of your ass.

I don't think plants can only come from the police. Other agencies for example intelligence agencies such as the CIA have been known in the past to plant and infiltrate and destabilize groups. This is what I believe has happened to the Black Bloc to discredit the anti-globalization movement from within, and now to divert attention away from SPP critiques so everyone babbling about violent protest instead of about issues.

The three provocateurs that were caught by David Coles all had green spray paint on some part of their body. This was to identify them as undercover agents to the riot police. I looked at this video a couple of times and the one guy looks a little larger then most anarchists but I didn't see anything that looked like a tag.

It is definitely disturbing - how do we know now? The police insisted for a couple days they had no one planted and then turns out they did have police planted - and with rocks! How do we know? Where is democracy? I wonder how far this goes with the government? People obviously knew this was going to happen. An erosion of our democracy (right to free speech, dissent, etc.). This is scary. It makes me wonder about many things in Canada I thought were transparent (e.g., voting)!
