@qwn652 im not to sure on this one, it might void your warranty doing this because its modding the phones firmware, but its worth googling around to find out :D

getting the same error which cant open the comm port, however i cant install my phone driver since my phone is unable to turn on. are there any other ways?

@cic4kz install sony ericsson update service (SEUS), this installs the boot drivers for your phone, try it after that :) hope this helps

how the hell did you make those stuff appear in your logs? I mean whenever I do the "Press connect then hold the c button" thingy, I only get this...

Disconnected... Unplug the phone

It's pissing me off already. Do you have any idea what the problem is? I also have w850i. And if it has something to do with firmware, can you please explain it in detail. Thanks.

@FernandoEMOrsolo Somehow I managed to make them appear. Now here's another problem.. i don't know which custom pack and firmware to choose. I went to topsony and I'm lost because there's so many files there and I don't have a clue which of them is appropriate for my phone.

@FernandoEMOrsolo Im so sorry for the late reply, and i clicked into R1KG001 RED52, then used W850_R1KG001_FS_EUROPE_1_RED52 on my phone for the firmware, then W850_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_CY_R­ED52 for my custpak :D hope this helps

@poad007 If your having problems connecting to PC, download SEUS (sony ericsson update service), part of the PC Suit pack, install that, then connect your phone it it to install the drivers, then close off seus WITHOUT updating your phone, and connect to XS++ :D hope i helped

Doesnt work tried heaps of those files and always says "PHONE NOT SUPPORTED" -"FAILED TO FLASH"...then "disconnect phone".... NO GOOD!!!

@oldschoolrona What phone are you trying to flash + Are you using the right files, because you cant flash say w850i files to a w990, its not compatable at all ;P

If you sign up for that, then you can click the downloads tab, and look in there, you will find just about every phone's files in there. If your still stuck inbox me and ill send you all the links and stuff to what you need :D

@ameerprince88 Yeah :D if you go to topsony.com and sign up for that, its free :D, then go to downloads and click custom files, and choose w850 custom files, then you can just choose any of them, cause i did and it worked fine :D, then to get the firmwares you go back to downloads, firmware, w850, then i used R1JC002_RED52, then i pressed either main orange, or main generic :D i cant remember witch one worked best, but i know they both worked fine :D
