im on chain 45 , ive reseted several times for a shiny patch but it wont show up ... couple of minutes later i accidently run into a wrong patch and my chain is broken . . .

does it take time for the shiny patch to appear?

Where do you even find the poke radar

You have to SEE all pokemon in the Sinnoh Dex, which are 150 in total.

After that, visit Rowan and Prof. Oak will be there. He'll give you the radar.

Nice. The thing that annots me is the Pokemon I am chaining actually stops the chain. I was chaining Bidoof, and a Bidoof stopped my chain. It's happened a few times, so I have yet to reach over a chain of 19. =(

What? That doesn't make sense. If you chain a Bidoof and get another, won't the chain go on?

I think it depends on what sort of "shake" you move into. Chances are I was chaining a Bidoof in an area with a faint sparkle, and then saw a stronger sparkle, went to that and even though it was also a Bidoof it stopped the chain.

If the patch is on an edge and you go into it, even if it is the pokemon you are chaining, there is a chance all four patches could reappear out of bounds, ending the chain. To prevent this, don't go on edge patches unless you are brave. (Unless, of course, it is a shiny patch, then you might want to reconsider :D)

Check out the video on 'How to Hunt Shinies with the PokeRadar'. Follow every single rule when running into pokemon in the chain.

Mainly, go to the grass furthest away from you. If you can't tell which one is furthest, run 50 steps and re-use to radar.

if u hav sound on ur computer then search how to hunt for shiny pokemon and watch the youtube vid of shuko. it will tell u all of the steps for a shiny catch.

also there has to be four patches moving to do it right and try to stay away from patches on the edge or corner of the area. oh also dont pick patches behind u. and reset the radar often. it took me a long time to get used to also. dont worry.

It requires some luck, due to the fact that the chain can break for no reason at all, and when the shiny appears on the chain is also luck. But it also requires quite a bit of skill.
