They covered the story of Reach, they got books on a bunch of other stuff in the halo universe, they the stuff that happened during the game Halo Wars..they would have to make a whole new story i guess. They didn't run out of money. Microsoft cut out a lot of stuff and the ones making it such as Director Neil Blomkamp gave up on it and it just fell apart before Microsoft cancelled it. I found this out way before it was just theories from a friend who's dad worked with Microsoft and of course I chose to believe that they were postponing it. Guess not...
