Poor woman, caught in the trap of the vicious circle of lies that men tell in order to have a slave at home. I am appalled at how the beating takes place infront of the child. One can see that the child is traumatised. The parents of this child should take him/her for therapy..... I think these movies should have a label "In the making of this movie, No Child was harmed" Otherwise the makers are breaking some child laws in the name of Cinema.
i wonder how diz women agree 2 be hit whilst acting.. dis is da 2nd film i've seen real actual beatings to women.. although it may be prevalent in buganda society, sum ppl arent too keen in watchin women's rights abused like dat...
its lyk showin a gay person n anotha in da act.. although dey exist in uganda, we dnt wanna have 2 c dem on tape, n god forbid dat ppl in uganda start copyn da west in producin x-rated films lyk ghana does now.. but i hpe our constitution's stern against dis issue!
She should have stood up to the man like a my grandmother did the first time my grandpa hit her.
As I recall the story it resembles this part of your film. My grandma took her first child in the back and ran into the fields and said she won't leave until she is allowed to hit my grandpa as well.
My grandma's father was summoned to where she was in the field and she explained what happened hehehe....to cut a long story short, my grandma got her wish and my grandpa never hit her again
