  • @BANZAI313 Although I'm not an English aikidoka nor knowing any Japanese sensei, I'd rather say that a good sensei doesn't necessarily have to be a Japanese, and a Japanese sensei doesn't always mean a good sensei. Just look for a better explaining sensei that had a high level of understanding, that'd be much better, or train under a good curriculum (e.g. Ki Society). Hope it helps :)

  • @kayoukyokuZulog1 that's true actualy, i trained for a little while last year under an english sensei and realy appreciated it, but still, he trained and lived in japan for many years under, by saito sensei who was considered to be like a son to morihei weshiba. unfortunately i had to quit for reasons beyond my control, thanks for the sdvice though.
