Hi Joshuapaulsshow, Hope all is going well for you and your radio program. I received a call last week from the Nassau County, District Attorney Rice's office to set up an appointment to discuss certain issues. How many more lives are going to be destroyed before they are stopped? Where is the Justice? Who is going to give Pat Horan her reputation back?? How about Kate Murray for starters seeing as how she jumped the gun by removing her without pr...oof!!I am so sick of all the injustice. Someone finally has the nads to post the truth and proof of documents that put Diane in a not so brite light and I make comments based on truth and morons

It doesn't appear to me that she was giving the camera the finger. BTW, there weren't ny cell phone cameras 17 years ago. The only finger that's even a little visable is her index finger which seems extended. Maybe the peace sign? But, even if it was the finger, so what?

Additionally there's no proof that Ms. Horan was the one that said "kill the kitty." But even if she did, didn't you ever make an off-color joke? Should you have been fired for it?

Let's give this woman a break!

@artiefun Thank you for your input. I understand why you are not able to comment as you do not want the media attention or problems within Hempstead or with your neighbor. I applaud you for being brave and writing. I'd encourage you to share your story with the District Attorney who is investigating this case.

@RickHoran, I'm not demonizing her (Pat Horan- maybe your relative?) I understand that sometimes Euthanasia needs to take place. But why, oh why would she give the cell phone camera the middle finger and why would her staff be jumping up and down in excitement and laughter to kill a cat? And why the shouting "kill the kitty Kill the kitty" with the smiles on the face? I invite Pat herself to contact me.

The American Humane Association reported that in 1997 56 percent of dogs and 71 percent of cats that enter animal shelters were euthanized. Nobody likes to see cats and dogs put to sleep, but the answer isn't demonizing this woman who has given her life to helping animals.

Joshua, get your facts straight before you stand on your soapbox and use words like holocast when you don't know what you're talking about. You're not a responsible journalist, just a bully and name caller.

@rickhoran , how about you supply some facts before saying someone else doesn't have their facts straight?

How about the fact that there are 9employees at this shelter who made over 100,000 last year? And 8 of them have ties to the Nassau republican committee? Tax money being given away for political support. How about when3 volunteers went public with their claims that the animals were being mistreated, instead of looking into the charges, Pat Horan BANNED them from the shelter?

This person happens to be my next door neighbor since 2000 and if anybody knows her it would be me. Not only what we saw in the video but hours and hours of time that she stole from the shelter, by coming home each day after 3 hours of work. That should be a crime in itself. Unfortunately I can't be on your radio show to give you all the particulars, but I can tell your she is no angel.
