hay man u need to loosen up your glow plug a little not till u loose comperison cuz u will know when u loose comperison cuz ur pull starter will get supper easy to pull like u can pull it with your pinky but loosen up your glow plug a little not alot a little and that should sovle your pull start beenin really hard to pull i had the same prob

What I do is run 15-25% fuel and 2 1/2 to 3 turns on start up then adjustment from there

Hi Guy, Get yourself an electric starter with the 1/8 scale backplate for the motor, !00% easier, The hell with a pull start. Also sounds like your not getting fuel to the carb. Get a electric start.

Also! If you don't have the proper backplate for the motor I guarantee a toasted motor within a few dusty runs. The main bearing on the con rod will blow very easily

Number one rule on break in! I race truggies & spend around 350.00 to 400.00 on engines so "Please" listen. You must purchase a heat gun unless you already own one. Prior to even attempting a start - heat around the head & lower block until the temp is around running temp- (typically 210 / 220 F)... This will expand the sleeve so the piston can ride more easily without scarring & scuffing the inside of the sleeve from the massive pinch. During break in do not let temp exceed 225F MAX. use your

Your engine will likely be set rich for break-in, which you should do before you start tuning the carb and driving this truck hard. I'm guessing you have a rich low needle, and/or your idle gap is not open enough for break-in. Best of luck.

Be sure and seal the plates, carb,...I had air leaks in my 3.3! Fixed them and still didn't like the carb/air intake. Bought a .26 jl red dot picco-never let's front wheels down!-i've got 1 vid if u wanna see it! Good luck-Sweet Truck!

UPDATE::: I have not touched this truck since this video. I just ordered a replacement GO engine that will fit this truck since the local hobby shop here said that the engie is toast. Man, i thought you could just run this thing out of the box but guess not! I will be doing a update video probably next week late when the new engine comes in.

my glow start runs for ages i charged it for 3 hours ish and me and my m8 was usin it to start both our cars it probs got used 10 tymes and also if u keep it in for a long tym it will run out fast so u shud take it out asap and if u are primin do it without the glowstart in so doesnt waste batteries and when ur car is ran in u will get more out of ur glow start aswell

make sure you are using the correct type of fuel. you have to break in the engine before you run it. put your finger over the exhaust for like 4 pulls then move your finger and do that again. read up on it. get back to me i wanna know whats up

don't pull it so hard.. lightly but fast.. also.. be sure to purge your motor..do that by putting your finger over the exhaust and pull 4 to 5 times.. make sure everything looks normal.. check very closely for anyting different! hope this can help dude!

check for these things. pinched fuel line, proper needle adjustment (go a little bit rich), put a drop or two of fuel in the carb, make sure the engine is dry and clean, you might want to take it apart. put a drop of 2 cycle oil onto the piston. heat it up with a blowdryer. make sure you have the right fuel and at last check your glow plug. and if that doesn't help go watch videos on youtube by a guy called alishanmao

tuned pipe is a muffler, which quality is high and a lot better than quality of custom mufflers. They increase the engines max. rpm and by this way his max. power too. They can cost from 25$ to 75$ and more....

i guarantee its your carb settings, the glow igniter must last long enough. take a spare glow plug and stick it in the igniter and if it lights up brightly, its good. test the igniter first.
