I know, I felt that with Gina's death, it was too early for her character. And with Beaumont it would be even sooner...at least with Gina we managed to get to know quite a bit.

One of the things that bothers me about the whole Gina-fans...people say she's better than Sarah or she's better than this person.

I don't feel like we really got to know Gina. My thoughts: they knew they were ending the series, maybe had doubts about the actress, needed a shocking death and knew that Gina had too many connections to the previous story to bring into a new show.
