  • @MrJt45m The Blades are a private team that Lowestoft have to pay for and there are many other airshows happening at the same time So They aren't always available. Sunderland didn't get the Red Arrows this year.

  • @MrJt45m they were taking part in airshows in 2010 but weren't at Sunderland. They're red in this video have been blue since the 2010 season.

  • We are currently running a competition to win a flight with The Blades. To enter text ‘Wings’ to 70007. The Blades will fly the winner in full formation performing manoeuvres including loops, barrel-rolls an aileron roll and a stall turn.

    Text cost £1 plus one message at your standard network rate. An average of 88p per entry will go towards the Wings Appeal.
