Put in the middle of the piston and the button and put a redstone torch on a block (on the side that the repeaters are on) and the button power goes behind the block turning off the redstone torch making no power to the fences

to reverse it you pull the lever and press the butten. in other words leaver on pwering redstone activating fence push butten causeing redstone wire to deactivate lowering fence

Use a button on each side connected to a T Flip-flop which then is connected to the pistons. This will allow you too open/close it from both sides even if you have closed/opened it from the other.
