The murdered boy admitted to his mother that he inappropriately touched his half sister. He felt remorse. The father had been extremely abusive to this child in the past, beating him to the point neighbors can hear screams from outside the house. Secondly, why the boy’s mother and on lookers did not try to band together to apprehend the father. No one threw a rock, or even banded together to force the father to stop. Whatever, he did or did not do, it does not justify Murder!!

Much love for what you're trying to do for the kids and community. There is no justification for killing, especially your own child. Why was it so easy for him to beat and murder his own child without getting all the facts? He had a right to be angry but instead of beating the kid, why didn't he ask some questions to his son? I agree! Nothing he'd done constitutes death esp by his own father. His willingness to confess means he wanted help. I believe the father killed an image of himself. His anger had so consumed him that he'd take his son's life. NOOO! I feel that maybe its a cover up for what he had been doing/or allowed to happen. to mrHarvardstudent: HUH??? Last time I played with the boy was nearly a decade ago. And I have faced children, even today, in detention centers who have committed worse acts than this. They DO deserve a second chance; not to be shot down like a dog, ESPECIALLY by their own father.

It sounds liek that young guy was reaching out for help with his problems, & he turned to the place you would think would be safest besides the Lord of course (who im sure he talked to thoroughly to even find the courage to come out & admit what he had been doing), & sadly, it was a part of that supposed safe haven, his own father. who killed him.

I know they are both his children, & if he had caught his son doing that & killed him in a rage, then even though it wouldn't be right, I could see how it would be more justified, but for him to come over to the house with a gun, that talls me that with all the time he had to think on his ride over, he planned to kill his son & wasn't about to change his mind.
