This is soooo good to watch! He is a very strong little fella.. My child is nearly 12months old.. but there are no walking signs as yet, and luckily for us all he has moved from wearing the brace 23.5hrs to 16hrs! can't wait for him to start walking.

This is the first time I've seen a video of a child walking in this brace. What a miracle for these children! Our friend, John Mitchell, from Wayland, Iowa invented this new, more comfortable brace to use after the Ponseti method is used to correct clubfeet. The brace is made here in Wayland. John is an amazing guy and is donating half of the profits from it to charity and is creating a foundation to donate another reusable version of the brace to third world countries. i used to have to wear that kind of a brace when i was a baby i was born with club foot on both feet cause i have spina bifida. my mom said i hated to wear it and i screamed the whole time.
how old is your son? my son is almost 10 BCF and still does not crawl or pull himself up. When on his stomach he can push himself backwards...Thanks for sharing!
I want to thank you for posting this video. My daughter has bilateral clubfeet with the right foot also atypical. She is 9 mo and crawling and standing while holding the couch. I sent this to every family member who was conviced the shoes would hinder the walking process. In a month or so she can prove it herself. lol. Thanks

I had to walk in one of these - I never had club foot but I was born serverly in toed.
