  • Rest now in thy graven bed oh thou, beauty once incarnate, fair friend and brother. Never forget Rozz Williams. This is indeed my favourite sad story...

  • We love Thee,Rozz...R.I.P.,OUR Beloved Friend....

  • Amazes me how such a beautiful flower can leave such painful tracks on our beautiful bodies and lives. Every deadly flower

  • Happy Birthday, Rozz! I love you!

  • Good night sweet prince.

  • R.I.P. rozz he is forever missed

  • Some say suicide is not an option, others commit suicide to get through their unsolved problems. In ancient civilazations, magicians buried the right hand of the suicide many inches far from the rest body. I say that suicide is a brave act at a moment of cowrdness. May the land is blessed on your grave Rozz.

  • This is the genius.

  • i love rozz williams this guy has talent

  • i don't know why Rozz would kill himself was his life that bad? look at the people in Darfur or Rawanda or Afganistan where there is war and starvation and disease

  • If you think suicide is an act of bravery, kill yourself and prove us wrong.

  • @norxcontacts suicide is an act of rejecting the most precious gift -life- only a few people have the guts to kill themselves most of us even when we suffer we always hope that things will be better even when we are completely depressed so we cannot call 'coward' a person who did smt like that

  • Rozz was very influential in SoCal and the OC during the late 80's. I remember all of us deathrockers wanted to emulate him. We didn't have the internet back then, so we were really glad to get any info on Christian Death when we could get it. I met Rozz three times: he was as nice as pie each time.

  • @bludgeonbunny How lucky you were!

  • The death of a muse.

  • O beautiful Rozz Williams, i will never forget ye! u will never be forgotten! 1334 forever!

  • I have my amazing husband playing violin to this right now -- wish u could hear this

  • @DarlingBianca

If this song had a violin, I'm pretty sure the whole world would fucking explode because of the ultimate sadness it would cause.

Rozz Williams did so much good music, poetry and art. It's a shame that he's not that well known... His industrial stuff alone was miles ahead other noise projects, if you ask me.

  • "The true revolution is in mind, remember that, and all else shines"

I wish he would have remembered his own words

RIP)- Miss My Friend Love you Always

    BIanca Malise

  • RIP Rozz. </3 You are Missed.

  • R.I.P. Roger Alan Painter.

  • I remember when I was a wee tot listening to rozz, I cried when I heard of his death. And tears come to my eyes as I watch this video.

  • Where did you get these pictures?

  • eric rip

  • Dear God, We will give you Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, Skye Sweetnam, and Avril Lavigne for Rozz Williams and Michael Jackson back

  • @jazminekill you destroyed it when you said MJ this is an alternative against the mainstream music go comment about MJ n his POP friends on another video !

  • I have no words for this... Rozz, Du fehlst...

  • This right here is what music is made of: Pure poetry. Sure it's dark and sad but it's also a testimony from what the artist (Rozz) felt. I wish a lot more people would appreciate this kind of talent rather than swoon over the mainstream junk we have today

  • RIP rozz... truly an artist.

  • he was a real artist. this song is epic.

  • My hero!

  • Comment removed

  • Wow... I love Christian Death but I have never checked out any of Rozz Williams other projects. This is just beautiful. RIP Rozz <3

  • This is a special feature on the PIG DVD.

  • im a usual rock-metal liker but this song truely shocked me, it's amazing

  • Hey Rozz... how's it going. I'd loved to meet you in life. Maybe I'll find you later on. Peace + greetings from here

  • This song is amazing enough but with all the pictures and his artwork its chilling. RIP in peace Rozz

  • 1-April-2010: Rest In Peace, Rozz.

    (Wednesday, 6-Novembeer-1963 - Wednesday, 1-April-1998)

Your legacy will never be forgotten. Thank you.

  • ^*^ ^*^ ^*^ ~xXxXxXxXx

Bats and kisses for Rozz....RIP....Your mad genius lives on.

  • ROZZ HUNG HIMSELF NOT ONLY FROM COMMON PSYCH-CAUSES OF DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, ETC., BUT THE MORE UNCOMMON "VAN GOGH SYNDROME" IN WHICH A GREAT ARTIST FEELS REJECTED BY AN ALOOF, VILE, PIGGISH CULTURE.

AMERICA IS SO VILE, THAT ROZZ WAS REDUCED TO APPLY FOR WHAT BLOBS CALL A "REAL JOB"--AS IF ART ISN'T REAL JOB: A SALES CLERK: IT'S UNPARDONABLE THAT SO MUCH TALENT BE IGNORED & DEBASED: ROZZ WASN'T A FUCKING SALES-CLERK, FOLKS. STOP PRETENDING A

    BANKER OR AN INSURER OUT-VALUES

    ARTISTS, POETS, etc.

  • MAGISTRAL ROZZ WILLIAMS .

  • Why did he commit suicide?

  • @heartofsilver777 why does anyone?

  • Comment removed

  • Wtf? fuck you.

  • Too much pain in this world for such a tortured soul.

    Gone, but never forgotten..............

  • feels a bit ridiculous to miss someone you didn't know but somehow i still do.

met him very briefly when shadow project played ga and he was such a humble and soft spoken man. a true gentleman.

lovers of his work take note: rare premature ejaculation releases are going to be coming throughout 2010. maybe your only opportunity to hear a side of roger that many aren't aware of. check the "happiest tapes on earth" myspace or more info.

    r.i.p. brother

  • It's easy to feel like you miss him, even if you didn't know him. For myself his music and voice carried me through hard times. His voice brings back significant memories and expresses the grief, sadness and emotional pain that can be overwhelming. Music often says things you cannot seem to express when your in the state of mind. If people who commit suicide really do go to some sort if hell or purgatory, I hope I meet you there.

  • brilliant. met him before a shadow project show...he kissed my hand...what a loss...love this song...prelude huh?

  • Comment removed

  • Haha! What an idiot you are. Stupid fan girl!

  • @LustForHate

fuck you :) it's pretty pathetic to try to talk shit over the internet.

  • You're pathetic!

  • @LustForHate why would you fight on a memorial video especially for rozz so grow the fuck up you disrespectful pric

  • I really do appreciate your love of Rozz and I'm not trying to talk shit, but I don't think he would have wanted you to kill yourself just to meet him. That's kind of ridiculous.

  • No, I agree... I just reread what I wrote, and I said "literally." I meant it figuratively, I dont know why i put literally.

  • @DisneyPressedRoses

We all have our moments. =]

  • Yea, suicide was his decision. I don't buy into suicide is the act of a coward mentality. It's one right that can never be taken from us.

  • And its a right that religion holds claim to with fear. I definitely wouldn't condone suicide, but you're correct. Death is our only inalienable right. Kinda dark isn't it. Makes me think of Hunter S. Thompson - Now you see me, now you don't.

  • @TyeDyeGuyRy

Complete BS, some people who suffer depression can't get the thought out of their head and think they have to kill themselves, even if they don't want to.

Whichever ass hat told you that, just place a knife in front of them and tell 'em to do themselves in, let's see how easy it is.

  • @TheFirearmEnthusiast You're an idiot.

  • @TyeDyeGuyRy

I don't think you understood what I wrote, you're the bigger idiot.

  • @TheFirearmEnthusiast Erm, I don't think you understand depression very well. There are people in an institution because they have not had a happy thought in 30 years. People with Bi-Polar, BPD, etc are much more likely to commit suicide than someone suffering from depression.

Suicide is a right that no one should ever take from you. Regardless of how you reason it, it is your right to kill yourself when and if (except physically harming someone else in the process) you see fit.

  • @TyeDyeGuyRy

    I agree, that's why I don't think you understood what I meant.

  • @TheFirearmEnthusiast I said suicide was his decision. Then you mentioned that "some people who suffer depression can't get the thought out of their head and think they have to kill themselves, even if they don't want to." which is irrelevant here.

I'm talking about Rozz, no one else. Aside from my belief that suicide is a right no one can, or rather should, ever take from you. Nor should they mock you for making the decision to end your life.

  • @TyeDyeGuyRy the emotional highs and lows are basically imposible to handle... its like riding a bike. one that could crash for no apparant reason

  • @1787dude I agree, as this is why Bi Polar and Borderline Personality Disorder have such a high suicide rate if left untreated.

  • @TyeDyeGuyRy im untreated, i have mixed episodes, cyclothmia and an on and off psychosis at the moment an if u know about those they are pretty intense man, my disease is getting worse but i cant take meds,to me that isnt even an option, i am trying to find alternatives i think a blood pressure medication and a sleeping medicine would help with the psychosis and lack of rem sleep and it could help the mood a tiny bit.. and i couldnt live without the highs or lows even if i wanted to.

  • @1787dude You'll have to learn to manage the highs and lows or you will have a very rough love life.

  • @TyeDyeGuyRy ya know after being off meds for so long, my psychosis and moods has gotten worse but my coping skills have gotten alot better, and my love life isnt all volitile like it was a year ago,10 pounds of emo in a five pound container, i looked at what i was doing wrong and i fixed it, but still got a long way to go. i think breakdowns are actually a part of a natural psychological healing process, A DANGEROUS ONE.

  • @1787dude do a bunch of drugs and drink alot of alcohol and forget about it.

  • lmao thats what she said.

  • @TyeDyeGuyRy just found out my moms a sociopath.... not handling so well, starting to have mixed episodes again.

  • @TyeDyeGuyRy FINALLY! i found somebody who agrees with me about suicide!

  • @TyeDyeGuyRy Suicide is far from cowardly, takes a lot of balls. I don't really approve but it was his life and his choice. Hopefully he's in better place.

  • @whitetrashoutlaw Finally someone who sees suicide as it truly is - it takes bravery, and it's not for cowards.

  • @TyeDyeGuyRy We are not given the choice of life, yet we are given the choice of death. I would say life is a gift, even if it is painful. Experience itself is worthwhile. That said, there is a point in time in which life is no longer worthwhile. I quit working at a psychiatric hospital, partially, because I felt that a small minority of those people I was keeping from suicide would have actually been better off dead.

  • te vere en el infierno querido rozz

si pudieras saber cuanta banda te idolatra

  • I'm sending a prayer for you in Heaven.... You shall never, ever be forgotten because what you left behind is forever RIP

  • forget me not or i'll forget myself.

  • Sigh rozz..always gives me the question why the most amazing people have to die really..his work, music, lyrics, art, everything was so wonderfull- Hope his life is just as good now as i hope it will be for him.

    Rest in peace

  • everybody dies ..

just respect him and his work (rozz w)

there s nothing u can do

he chose to leave this world

    fair enough

  • Absolutely perfect melancholy, reflecting his life. SO talented. RIP "Roger". I hope you found peace.

  • its no surprise Rozz wrote the ultimate epitaph, he revelled in melancholy. perfection

    RIP

  • This song always makes me want to cry. I visited him in Hollywood Forever, and there were fake flowers beside his ashes, and somebody left a piece of paper in the flowers that either said C.D. FOREVER, or just C.D. (can't remember, lost the pictures) and for whatever reason it was really touching.

  • he was really cool singer

  • This is my absolutely favourite song

  • Same here.

  • Where did you get a picture of him as a kid?

  • rozz williams and cristian death forever

  • He was talented. It's not making him out to more than he was. He was a talented man who's solo work showed he was the real mind behind any act he was apart of.

  • such a wonderful sad song....

  • He was SO gifted, so sad. I will miss him FOREVER. "Forget me not or I'll forget myself" no we won't Rozz.

  • Rozz was born in Pomona,CA which is where I grew up. I'm lucky.

  • If it is time to be appart I always remember you my love with this song...I will love till the end of time...

  • I don't care about all the bs surrounding Rozz's death. There's all this talk about betrayal.... I think we all betrayed him directly or indirectly. Over 10 years now since his death, I just found out now. I will take my share of the responsibility. He was just a human being. Let's try to give him the respect a human being deserves. I'm so sorry.

  • U_U

    SO SAD

  • IMHO he's still alive... at least in my heart.

No, really, sometimes I doubt about his suicide, I've seen the death certificate and everything but I just keep doubting, maybe Rozz Williams did die, but not Roger Alan Painter.

  • This is such a lovely song, but sad :( it's about heroin addiction. The flowers...so sad.

  • well a...stem is not a rose...BUT THAT'S HOW MY GARDEN GROWS!!!!!

  • Which album contains this version of "Flowers"? I'm trying to find the piano version but I can only find the guitar version.

  • Dream Home Heartache with Gitane Demone.

  • R.I.P Rozz

"This is my, favorite sad story..."

  • No one knows what it means, to me, to be, set FREE. R.I.P Bro

  • This song always makes me want to cry.

    RIP Rozz

  • no, he killed himself, blame manson, we taled, he was horribly hurt by the music scene, BTW fuck valor with a big red rubber dick!

  • I loved this. It was so appropriate, and you showed some of his Best collage. I'm so glad I got to see Rozz and Gitane Dimone doing spoken word here in San Francisco before his tragic end in the 1990's.

  • Was Rozz murdered or did he commit suicide?

  • Comment removed

  • suicide, 1998

  • I think one could say that Rozz was murdered by betrayal.

  • Betrayal? Are you referring to Valor's acquisition of Christian Death?

  • Yeah

  • HE QUIT THE BAND IN 1984! No one took Christian Death away from Rozz. He abandoned it, and then decided he wanted it back in the early 90s.

  • Actually Douchebag Valor wasn't supposed to play under the name Christian Death. Christian Death was Rozz's creation and when he left Valor promised he wouldn't use the name, and then turned around and stole it.

And supposedly Rozz faced other large betrayals in his lifetime but I don't know if those are unfounded speculations or not.

  • The truth still is, that Rozz didn't care about christian death. He was angry that Valor performed songs from OToP even though no one in the band was making that album. Rozz made reunion shows only because he got money from it.

At the time Rozz was more interested in his solo work and noise projects.

    Such a lovely song

  • I suppose that's true.

Lately I've been trying to not make any speculations about him. I feel like he was a person you know and i shouldn't try to make him into some divine fantasy like some people do.

  • Yup, but I think it's still safe to say that he was a musical and poetic genius

  • True. At heart, he was just a person, but I think that makes him all the more beautiful, to be fragile humanity, like all of us.

  • Love the pics and the tribute. There was just something about rozz indeed.. beyond the dramatic exterior

    he had a beautiful soul.

    Rozz forever.

  • Such a beautiful sad song, reflects Rozz himself. RIP Rozz, you were deep and full of emotion. Thank you for expressing it musically so we could enjoy it!

  • Piango la tua morte, con dolore.

  • miss you ROZZ !!!!

  • This is my favorite sad story...

  • Indeed, literally- Mine too lol

  • R.I.P.

  • Love you Roger.

  • 10year old dead :(

  • This song moves me,brings me to tears everytime.R.I.P.Rozz you'll never be forgotten!

  • never could understand mourning over someone i never knew. great artist, very inspiring. a shame that he died but really get over it. if u ever checked out norway's black metal band mayhem the dude blew out his brains with a shot gun & the band members put the picture of him with his brains splattered across the wall on their live album cover. i think that's an ultimate statement & the best way to remember the dude whoever he was was, & the legacy of sick fucked up shit lives on! hail satan !

  • You crazy bastard!

    -Mind blowing idea,indeed.

    =D

  • Is there a limit in your fascination for the obscence and gross ?

  • there is much to b learned from graphic displays of rott & decay & random acts of violence + it just looks cool, so no, there is no limit

  • You should check out the book Nico B compiled of Rozz's work. The Art of Rozz Williams : From Christian Death to Death.

  • That picture at 0:32 is hauntingly familiar to myself.

  • Rozz.

  • R.I.P. Rozz 1334

    Forever missed

  • love u forever!

  • rozz will always live in my heart and thoughts.

    RIP 1334

  • rip rozz.

We love you, we need you...

  • that was beautiful.

  • RIP Rozz 1334

  • i love you rozz

  • I was quoting someone. God you kids are stupid. Using "" means it's not my words.

  • Indeed, stupid fuckheads

  • "fuck rozz!!

    damn junkie who sung

    with a fakie british accent.

    Get real!!!!

Valor took christian death to new heights.

While Rozz was under the dilution he was a some sort of victorian era poet."

Valor fanboys are annoying. At least Rozz had talent.

  • Well, all who don't like Rozz etc. go fuck off!!! If you don't like him, continue not liking him, but don't say here he sucks, he bitch and all other crap. I like Christian Death and many people like Chrisitan Death. I like Rozz and many people do, so please, shut the fuck up and don't say he is bad or else. We all never said Valor is shit, so behave yourself. Hope you understand. Good luck deathrockers!

  • I think it's bullshit he's talking shit on him here, it's his memorial video for fuck's sake

Go be an ignorant idiot elsewhere not on something remembering someone who changed alot of people's life whose passed away

  • Totally agree with you

  • Die in pain.

  • I don't even know where to begin with this......Valor wouldn't have a fucking name for himself if he hadn't joined that "damn junkie"'s band

If had SO much talent why couldn't he go off and start his own band instead of wrongly using a name of a band that already had noteriaty which he had NOTHING to do with getting

He's a pathetic leech and nothing more

    Rozz was a true artist.....

  • this is a vid about rozz, not christian death.

  • haha true

  • fuck valor

  • I loved Rozz when I was fourteen, I even meet him a couple times. But evil can die, and you can grow up.

  • Great Master of Life,RIP

  • Rozz forever.

Fuck Valor. We shouldnt even talk about that nasty creature.

    R.I.P.

  • he was so beautiful, rest in peace, lovely rozz!!

  • I would kill you if I knew it was enough.

  • Lovely video of a very beautiful artistic man.

  • 1334
