Lovely pictures, the colors on those animals are wonderful, like an orange split open. And the white really contrasts beautifully with it. We had fireworks across the road even though I'm over international waters! And some weird UFO things kept popping around everywhere. Love the hat, love the shelly! Your a wonderful person, keep on keepin' on!!!!

I grew up in IL and we had/have many days in the 100s. I'd put up with 100 to be there. Imagine all the laughs we could share. :) I'll be in IL from August until I don't know when yet. lol

My daughter's baby is due at the beginning of October so I'm going to stay and help her.

We have had almost no rain for a long time. Two small rains and now we are having temps lower than normal and a tiny bit of rain today but we really need rain here. Our grass is brown as well. Maybe we'll get more rain in the next day or two.

Ah Shelly such a heartwarming video of your thoughts and pics of your 4th weekend! We celebrate Canada Day on the 1st of July, but, I must say I celebrate right along with you on the 4th. My mother was American and I have 2 American born children, and I am so proud to live right across the river from the greatest nation in the world. Indeed...God Bless America!
