Personally I love BOTH P3 and P4- P3 had a great story and at even though I didn't like the fact that you couldn't control the other characters, the AI system was really intellegent. In P4- I love how you can control the others and I love how it makes me laugh a lot throughout the game and I loved how it had more options like part-time jobs! The thing that does suck is that if you want to hang with a friend for a social link, you can't explore the dungeon- I mean it does have some benefits.

I remembered my cousin's fuss about forcing me to buy this game.

After the cool FES hip-hop opening, there it started.... the epic piano and the ultimate hook which clearly says "Welcome.....".

It makes your fingers twitch to press start. Personally, not many games can make you attracted to it without even playing it yet.

I think I prefer p3 in terms of character design... the rest, I'm going to have to give to p4. I love Chie and Yosuke's designs, but the Protagonist definitely took a step back. I also love the retro-styled interface and the overall look of 4 better than 3, but 3's characters (especially the Persona and Shadows) looked a lot more original.

But P4's BOSS Shadows, now that's another story...

I've said it many times, Megaten-games are so way ahead of other J-RPGs in terms of profundity and aesthetics.

I hope Atlus will continue to treat the series with the same care. Then we will be blessed with much more brilliance in years to come :)...

Yeah, I like 3 FES over 4 too. I dunno, something in the way the game was paced, and the whole feel of the double-life SEES had in 3... It was more special. P4 couldn't beat P3 beacuse 3 had originaility on it's side - 4 was following the same idea, but it was nothing new to those who played 3.

P3FES had a magic and a style 4 can't beat. It comes close, but it fails in the end... At least for me.

4 is awesome none-the-less, and improved upon on a lot of 3's bad points. But 3 still wins.
